On second thought... These turned out to be not-so-waterproof... they do well temporarily for when you're just tromping around but for a full day in the conditions, your feet will get cold and wet. Real bummer, because they are nice looking shoes.

Right now we are in the middle of some flooding. Thank you Sperry!!! These are a god send. Not only warm and comfy, but practical. I am frequently walking in 1-3 inches of water and I am warm and dry. I love these so much I am going to get some rubber shoes also. Thank you Zappos! I ordered on a Friday evening @ 11PM and received them on Monday morning!!!

Great shoe - great investment! My friend has these boots and she works with horses outside all of the time... they have held up for a couple of years. I ordered them around the beginning of November 2008 - have worn them a bunch since then - no complaints! I know they will last forever... as far as the arch support - I wouldn't consider this a "hiking or sport shoe."

Runs big, but is incredibly comfortable - They're definitely good icy/snowy/otherwise chilly kickers. Easy to pull on and off and are just great all around. They do run a bit on the big side which is fine for me since I have to wear big wooly socks anyway. I pretty much wear these every day in an Aspen winter, and they take the different conditions pretty well. Nothing is going to keep you from slipping on an icy part of the sidewalk and embarrassing yourself in front of everyone, but these definitely grip better than most (and they leave little snowflake imprints which you may not think people will notice, but women do. "How cuuuuute!"). They're waterproof, too.

Adorable, warm, good value... This is a very cute boot and cozy warm. Sadly, I couldn't keep it because of the lack of support. I have a narrow size 9 foot. Although I can usually adapt to the width of boots and certain shoes, I really had to face reality that I also have rather flat feet and this boot doesn't offer much structure inside. If I were to wear these they would make my knees hurt over time. For most people this won't be a factor. I found my jeans slipped easily over the boots and I don't wear wide bottom jeans. This is a high quality boot that will be a joy to use when stomping in the snow! The fasteners on the side can be opened and closed, but they are very difficult to manipulate. I think just slipping them on and off without using the fasteners will be the best way to handle that. I'd recommend the boot to anyone who doesn't really need the arch support.

Super Winter Boots - They're cute, comfy and warm. The price is right and the quality can't be beat. The only complaint I have about these boots, and it's not really a complaint. They don't come in half sizes and I'm a true 7.5. The 8 is too big, and the 7 is a bit snug. But I still love them. SDB
