Great shoes! I received my Solo's this afternoon and have not wanted to take them off! Super comfy yet sturdy with a fun color combination of grey and yellow. I'm always a sucker for perforated shoes ever since I had my first pair of perforated leather loafers as a teen. They just look cool. The only minor quibble I would have is the logo placement - a bit too pronounced for my design sensibilities. Am hoping Merrell comes out with more great color combinations of this shoe - hint hint.

When I first took these out of the box, I thought they might be part of the minimalist line of Merrell. They are very lightweight and the sole seemed too light and not as supportive as I had hoped but these are generous enough to accommodate my orthotics which gives them great support. The heel is that perfect Merrell fit for my narrow ones and for which I depend Merrell to continue. Thank goodness for half-sizes in this style. Wish Merrell would do this for all that they offer! Love the retro look and would have considered the regular Solo Origins but these are very tempting.
Brands I'd also recommend: Try Jambu, Moto, Reiker, Seibel, Ecco, Wolky. Euro brands can be odd in sizing tho. Also, try Ahnu! And Merrell if you need and if they have, half-sizes!

I really like this shoe. It fits, is true to size, and the little perfs make it feel a bit more summery than some shoes. Good job, Merrell!

This style of Merrell is a little more angular than other styles that I've bought in the past. They are still just a comfortable and durable though. Not to mention the color combo is fun and adds a little pizazz!
