Merrell continues to be my go-to shoe - After having a previous pair of Merrells last me 6 years, I sought out that old style that suited me so well, to no avail. I put my faith in this Moc, and it is a comfortable, handsome shoe that is equally suited to the winters of Minneapolis as well as looking sharp when noshing at a neighborhood wine bar. Simply marvelous shoes.

Warm comfort for the winter - I have owned jungle mocs before, but needed a warm casual shoe for watching football games and general fall or non-snowy winter outdoor activities. I tried winter shoes from Bjorn and Ecco as well as Timberland at my local retailer, but they all felt too hiking boot like and did not have the Polartech lining so they did not feel too warm. These do the trick. So far it has not been really cold yet, but they warm up my feet fine on cooler mornings when temps are in the 30s. They are soft and comfy on the inside, but seem to run larger than normal for my regular width size 8 feet. You could use heavier socks to firm up the fit. I wear thin wool socks most of the time and will continue. And as far as looks go, these are definitely weekend casual and would look out of place in any upscale dining room for example. More to follow as it gets colder and we'll see how they do in a few inches of snow. All in all a good winter casual shoe.

Not a good choice - First looks were good but shoes were puffed out with paper. The left shoe fit perfectly but the right is loose. Maybe about a 1/2 size larger than the left. (I have never had this issue with a pair of shoes before). After wearing for a bit the toe kind of curled up and they don't look very good. I have been wearing slip on mocs for a few years and have favored other ones before but I thought I'd try these and am disappointed.

Merrell Shiver Moc - I bought these for my 10 year old son to wear in the cold, rainy, and snowy weather as he does not like having to wear boots and change into shoes at school. He really likes them and said they are very comfortable. He said they feel more like a shoe that grips your foot than the suede Merrell Jungle Mocs which is the other shoe he wears all the time. They are also pretty cool looking with the gripper sole and they are not clunky looking.

These shoes are great. I have many pairs of Merrell shoes and these are so much lighter than the others. They are also extremely warm. Great product.

Trusty Winter Casual - This is my third pair of this particular Merrell. Great traction and easy to take on and off, an important factor when one does not want to bring snow and slush into the house or living in a house where shoes are not welcome inside. Gave four stars for the smooth finish as the past pairs had been Nubuck. Smooth finish looks a little plasticky but does offer better water-repelling performance.

Very Happy - This is an excellent winter shoe for me. We have had plenty of snow and cold here in Buffalo this year, and these shoes are keeping me going all day long in deep snow or on ice.

Love it - Great winter shoe! My son loves Merrell slip-ons, and has been wearing the Jungle Moc for years. Wanted something similar but with better traction for the snow and ice when he doesn't want to wear the heavy snow boots. This shoe can handle the cold and is comfortable enough that he can wear it all day. Looks great with jeans, but can even get by with casual pants.

Great Shoe! These are my third pair of Merrell Mocs, but the first "weatherproof" ones. Very happy with their comfort, look, and feel. I do find that Merrell Mocs run a little on the large side.

Great shoe! Easy to slip on and off, Comfortable all day long, traction in the rain is outstanding. Toe box has enough room to wiggle your toes. I have seen men wearing these for years, now I know why.

I was looking for a rugged slip-on shoe for winter days that didn\'t quite require boots. The Shiver Moc seemed made-to-order. Not only is it nice looking (I\'ve received several compliments), but it seems very well built, has great traction on slippery snow, and is easy on and off (important to me while going through airport security). I\'ve had several pair of Merrell\'s over the years and have always been happy with the fit and durability, likewise with these, although they seem wider than others of the same size.

Great shoes! Easy on, easy off, super comfy, warm enough but not too warm, actually waterproof, unobtrusively decent-looking. I love mine, have worn them out in 18 months of heavy use, will buy another identical pair. They feel a tiny bit wider than average, but the extra room is welcome and not problematic.

Have been buying Merrells for several years now so thought these would be nice for the winter. Look nice but don't fit; luckily with Zappos return policy they will be easy to return. Way too tight, don't know if it's because of the lining or what but too narrow and too short. Ordered the same size as I the Jungle Mocs I have on, but there is no way I can wear the Shivers. Seems like Merrells quality and sizing have fallen off the last couple of years.
