I have owned at least 5 pairs of Merrell shoes and so far they all fit the same. This shoe fits length and width the same as my other Merrells. The shoe looks nice and I like the high rubber walls on the soles. These shoes do have a different arch height and placement than do my other Merrells. I have flat feet and these shoes have a very high arch. The right shoe seems to have a higher arch and it is more forward than the arch on my foot. At first it was real uncomforable, but after wearing the shoes for approx. 10 times it seems that the arch support is softening and becoming more comfortable. If you have flat feet you may want to order a different shoe. otherwise these mocs are perfect for bad weather.

I bought these to replace a no longer-available Uggs fleece-lined slip-on shoe. I like the Merrell even better. It is very comfortable and warm. I especially like the rubber trim that will help avoid scuffs and salt stains.

This is my second set of these shoes. I wear them everyday, and they last a solid year even with tons of abuse. I usually treat them with a really good suede waterproofing, and then run them into the ground. They are my SUV do everything shoes. The only issue I see is that the inside of the shoe where the pull tab on the back is tends to get worn out first. They have great traction, are warm, have front scuff protection, and are comfortable. It's enough style for work and rugged enough for off road trails. Even after a year the suede was still suede, and I'm rough on them. I love these shoes! It's the perfect shoe for the person who needs a rugged but stylish shoe. Oh, and they have sipping for ice.
Brands I'd also recommend: For rougher times i use Asolo 520's

This is the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned. For the last 2 years, I have awakened with heel pain. Within a day of starting to wear these shoes all day at work, I have no heel pain. I would buy one in every color if I could.

Merrell seems to have "re-sized" as I needed a 1/2 size smaller on the last two pair I ordered. The Shiver is excellent for cold weather snow and ice and kept my feet warm and dry. Highly suggest you try it.

Even though I had to buy a men's size, I love these shoes. I just use a nice pair of sport socks. They keep my feet toasty, and comfortable. I wore them for nearly two weeks every day, until I told myself to let the poor things breathe a little.

My husband doesn't like boots and has ruined three pair of shoes this winter alone! (We live in Chicago.) I saw a guy wearing these and asked him how he liked them because I thought my husband might consider these. He said he didn't like boots either but LOVED these. And so does my husband!! 9.5 fit perfectly! Total comfort. Unfortunately, I did not like the rugged look of this and returned it. It just wasn't casual enough. It really comes off as an outdoor/rough terrain type of shoe. Trying other Merrell's with no luck. This seems to be the only one to fit my feet perfectly! If you are ok with the style of it...go for it! I tried the Jungle Moc's in Nubuck in the same size and they felt a half to possibly a whole size bigger when these felt amazingly true to size. So odd!
