If you want a shoe that is a total piece of garbage, buy this one. I tried 2 different pair and the glue came apart on the toe cap both times on both shoes. I love Merrell's but not this shoe.

I've owned several pairs of Merrell's and this shoe beats them all for comfort, looks and performance. The Refuge is similar to the Moab Ventilator but is more comfortable with excellent arch support and feels lighter. The overlook is excellent with very nice attention to detail. The rubber covered toe and thoughtful thin rubberized (almost sandpaper like) layer around the base of the shoe are just examples. I am generally a 10.5 in Merrell's but this shoe feels a tad bit shorter but I attribute that to the actual styling; the front toe area slopes and it feels as if the height area is smaller. Again, my favorite Merrell shoe to date - highly recommend.

Ordered these for my husband, who has worn a 14 in Merrells for a while, but we had to return because they were way too big. The tip of his toe hit before the toeguard on the shoe. Nice looking shoe though!
