This will be the fifth pair that I have purchased from Zappos. Their service and policies are the best on the web. As for Merrells, they are the only shoes that don't hurt my feet.

Got the Radius low-cut waterproof shoes about nine months ago and have worn them for a variety of day-day activity that includes general yard and farm work, walking around town and light hiking. On the good side they are comfortable and, as advertised, waterproof. The tread design and composition grips very well to a variety of uneven surfaces such as rock, concrete or even downed trees. Very secure feeling. From a durability standpoint I think they\\\'re average or better. A couple stitches have broken - on the side of one of the toe caps and another on one of the decorative round openings on the outside of the shoe. Considering the amount and type of use I\\\'ve given them, not that big a deal. \\r\\n\\r\\nThe biggest negative for this shoe is it\\\'s amazing ability to hold onto mud. That tread pattern that works so well on hard surfaces appears to be the ideal design for filling up with mud and holding on to it until it dries. And of course, once the tread is full of mud you have no traction. Now that the rainy season is back I\\\'ve had to stop wearing the shoes for outdoor work as it means hosing them down every time. \\r\\n\\r\\nOverall, they are comfortable and if you\\\'re not going to be in wet dirt, a good general purpose outdoor shoe. So a couple weeks ago I ordered another pair.

Great shoes. My third pair. Takes care of the problem of finding wide shoes. Shoe laces way too long as always.

Great shoes. Comfortable. I have a wide foot and sometimes have a hard time getting a good fit. Ordered in wide and was most pleased by the immediate comfort. Shoe was a little lighter than I expected, but has great support and sturdy sole.

This approach shoe is very comfortable. A perfect selection for someone seeking a solid shoe with a large toe bed.

Good looking and comfortable. I have a very wide foot. Always a challenge to find attractive footwear that fits. This shoe delivers both style and comfort. Feels well built, but not heavy. Should be durable for the long haul.

I decided it was time to forgo the everyday gym shoes in favor of something more 'adult.' These definitely fit the bill. They appear rugged, both in style and construction, and are definitely the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I usually wear a size 12 4E, but the 12 'E' in these shoes fit me quite well without any problems in width or length. In fact, I would say they're as wide or wider than some of the '4E' shoes I've worn.

I'm on my fourth pair of these. Nothing fits me like these. I wear them 6 - 7 days a week including on my construction job. My foot is wide, but I wear the regular width and it's fine.

I love these shoes! So much that I just bought a second pair. I have a wide foot and narrow heel and this is the best pair of shoes for that kind of foot. Plus the tread has excellent grip. I used my first pair to hike all over the West, including a 19-mile one-day hike in Yosemite with no problems, no blisters, no pains. The only fault is the laces. They keep loosening, so I have to tie a double knot.

I went hiking in the Redwoods and these shoes were great. We went on several trails, one that was 7 miles long and I had no foot pain at all; no hot spots either. I do have flat feet and typically have foot pain. I would also say the insoles are adequate. These also grip really well. I really recommend these shoes.

Maybe a tiny bit narrow and short for their size. Build quality is very good, stitching is solid and durable, materials are all durable and well selected. The rounded heel is nice for walking on hard or paved surfaces, but will cause your socks to slide around until you break them in a bit. A very well made shoe. Point deductions were because I think they are not the prettiest shoe ever made and also the insole left me wanting a bit more comfort (although this might improve as I break them in more).

I bought these shoes for my husband for a trip to Europe because they were supposed to be comfortable. My husband loves them. There was literally to break-in period and after all the walking, his feet were comfortable. I would recommend these shoes to anyone!

Took ‘em camping this weekend up in Catskills. It was raining hard for the most part of the trip, the shoes were dry, warm, and comfortable. I am very happy with this buy.

I read all the reviews of this shoe carefully before ordering, as I needed a really comfortable shoe due to a foot condition called Morton's Neuroma. These Merrells are the closest thing I can find to a cloud for walking. They do feel just a tad clunky, but I don't care as the comfort is outstanding. The color is nice too for running around town as they don't look like typical athletic shoes. I would buy another pair in a heartbeat.

Very comfortable, with excellent support. Surprisingly good cushioning. This shoe did not require any breaking in. Seems to run a bit wide, but this is okay with hiking socks. A really fine shoe.

Awkward Shoe To Wear - I tried these Merrells as I have a wide foot and bunion on my right big toe which requires a wide toe box. The Merrells fit fine and provide the room I need in the toe box, but the heel cup was too wide and the shoe felt sloppy. In addition, when walking, after my heel strikes the ground, I get the distinct impression that they rest of my foot slaps flat on the ground rather than rolling in a comfortable motion. Some people may not find this annoying or uncomfortable, but I do. I have since discontinued wearing these shoes and have purchased a pair of Solomons which fit better and have a more natural rolling action when walking. The inner sole of these shoes are very flimsy and offer no support. I wear orthotics, so I just threw them away, but people without orthotics may want to consider this.

Just plain wow. I was amazed. I thought the 8 would be too small since I have a very high arch. Not so. I ordered the 8 E and they fit wonderfully. (I wear a New Balance 8 2E or 4E for reference). The E was plenty wide for me. Though my toe hits the front part of the shoe on the "hit-your-toe-on-the-ground" test, I don't see this as an issue. I plan to use these for "street hiking" as well as easy trail hiking in Maine. I’m really starting to appreciate the rounded heel.

Merrell Radius - I have to wear wide shoes due to a bunion. I wear New Balance 4E. These shoes in wide size fit perfectly, no break-in. Wore them 14 hours the first day; extremely comfortable.

A great shoe - A top notch shoe. Extremely comfortable and well made. This is my first pair of Merrells. You won't go wrong with this purchase. Plus, they look great. If headed overseas, they are perfect. They break the "white shoes" American look with real comfort. I did purchase my shoes one half size larger than my normal street shoes.
