Seemed like they\'d be really comfortable if only they would have fit. Unable to fasten button and a little too short. Have to go back. Unfortunately, I wear an 11 so reordering in a bigger size isn\'t an option.

I really, really like these shoes. They are replacements for a pair of pricey Mephistos that absolutely killed my feet on a trip last year. I’ve "test driven" these shoes on a Florida trip to double-check their comfort. The shoe also has great stability. The bottom tread provides additional security against slipping. Because I have a narrow heel, I really need the strap which is set far enough back to hold the shoe onto your foot. Because I’ve had multiple foot surgeries, I require a LOT more padding than these shoes have (only SoftWalk shoes are padded enough for me and they don’t make anything remotely similar). I added a ball-of-the-foot gel pad on top of which I inserted a drugstore-type orthotic, both for additional padding and arch support. The two of these additions made the shoe fit my foot better. On my trip, I’ll wear thin socks to ensure that no blisters form from any heel rubbing while I’m in Italy. If I hadn’t needed the additional padding under the ball of my foot, I would’ve used a drugstore "heel cup" to fill in the extra heel space. It’s unfortunate that "double lasts" are no longer made for those of us with narrow heels, but the added room in the shoe makes it easy to add padding, etc.

These don't work for me - Unfortunately, I have to return these. Love the look and practicality, but my toes bump the front of them when walking. It's not that they're too big; perhaps it's just that the heel to toe angle isn't right for my feet. I am keeping another pair of Merrell shoes, which fit great, even though the footbed and sole seem similar to these ones.

Comfortable Shoe - This is a comfortable shoe that works well in a business environment that leans more towards business casual. I wear it with suits and dress pants; it would also be fine with casual outfits. I ordered the 8.5 based on other reviews (I normally wear an 8) and the shoe fits; it is just a tiny bit loose in the heel, but that is often a problem for me.

Stylish, comfortable shoe - Very comfortable stylish shoe. Great to wear at work or when chasing my kids at the park.

Pretty comfy - I have recently discovered the delights of Merrell shoes. Sometimes they aren't so pretty but it seems like the Plaza line is a little more stylish. I ordered 3 pairs and decided to keep this one due to its overall look. However, I have a ridiculously high instep and the strap cuts a bit toward the end of the day - but that's just me. Otherwise these are really a nice shoe. Feels like you're walking on pillows!

Nice color - I bought these in smoke- love the color, goes well w/khakis and jeans. The fit is not perfect for me, and less than I generally expect for shoes in this price range/brand. I am keeping them, though.

Just so so - I think these are a nifty looking casual Mary Jane. My foot is narrow but they fit pretty well. Not much arch support even tho' it looks like it and just not very comfortable.

Wonderful...yet need a 1/2 size larger than usual - I love this shoe...I make my living on my feet (hairstylist), I can work in these all day, feel pretty, and my feet do not hurt! They are very light in weight...so comfy on the feet. I did need a 1/2 size larger than I have ever worn. Zappos was AMAZING about the return process!

Very comfortable work boot. Redwings are the way to go. The sole on this boot is extremely soft and comfortable. It’s like wearing a pair of high top leather sneakers. I recommend this boot to the tradesman who is on his feel all day and needs relief. This boot does not need any breaking in. Just out of the boy and off to work you go. The leather is very soft and pliable. Boots are roomy in the toes even though they are steel toe (which I do not need, but it seems that every Redwing boot has a steel toe, so I settled). I have a size 14 shoe and was worried that I would not have any room in the toes. Excellent fit, true to size. Thanks Zappos!
