If I had to come up with a negative for this shoe...it's not great traction on wet hard surfaces otherwise all around great shoe. Comfortable and holding up very well a few months in.

I love these shoes, got them mostly for walking around town but also wear them to work a lot. They are very comfortable and not too heavy. They do run a bit large as I've found the case with most Merrell's - I ordered a half size smaller than with other shoes. I have wide feet and these fit me perfectly.

Good, tough, comfortable shoes. I replaced a set of LLBeans that only lasted one winter with these. So far, they seem much more durable, while only slightly less comfortable. They run a bit narrow, so if you have wide feet like me, order a 1/2 size up like I did. My only complaint as far as comfort goes, is they are a bit 'shallow', so they are sorta tight on your front ankle more than I would like. I have super high arches though, many shoes do this on me. So 4 stars instead of 5 because of that. I tried them on first at REI, but they dont stock the brown.

I got these to replace my Moabs, or "Office Hikers", because I don't really need that much shoe. The Mountain Diggs are perfect for casual, around town wear. They're tough and comfortable. Stylish but unobtrusive. They are a little narrow. I like that they don't have much rise or a bulky heel. The toes curl up just a little bit, which I think looks weird, but it's comfortable.
