I love these shoes! Not only are they lightweight and very comfortable, they make my feet look smaller than a 10½! Everything a girl could ask for! This is my first pair of Merrell's, and my first shopping trip at Zappos. It will not be my last of either.

While I love the Vibram treads on the bottom, and these shoes are my ideal style, they completely fell apart after 3 months. The bottom part that separates the shoe from the sole/tread completely came unglued after 3 months of average wear (5 hours a day, 4 days a week, about 3 miles total each of those days) And it wasn't as if they slowly started to fall apart, they completely separated all of the sudden, one on one evening, the other 2 days behind. I love to shop at Zappos, but I will just be sure to never buy this brand again. Poor quality for the price. And a shame too, the treads are still like brand new, barely even show signs of wear.

I wear a 9 1/2 in running shoes (Saucony) and I bought these in a size 10 based on other reviews. They fit just right in the length and a tad wide in width. This allows me to wear liners or thicker socks which I like. Very comfortable boot from the start! It's not my boot of choice for steep off-trail hikes - I need more ankle support and a stiffer boot for that. But I love the light weight and breathability of this boot for trail hiking or off-trail hiking on gentle to moderate slopes.

I had to order up a size to allow for space for socks and they ran a little small. Otherwise I love them. They are very supportive yet I feel connected with the ground. I replaced the insole they came with with a Dr. Scholl's gel insert and it makes them super comfortable. My son is going on a backpacking trek this summer and picked the same ones in men's for his trek.
I'd also recommend: Keen sandals

I have has some neuropothy problems with my feet since being thrown from a horse four years ago and Merrell clog type of shoes is all I can comfortably wear. My old boots wouldn't work any longer. I read all customer reviews of all Merrell boots and this one got the most wear them out of the box reviews. True for me. When my daughter visited, she tried them on, and it was true for her. These are for her birthday. Great shoe! Great store!

Amazing, light, and comfortable. The boot runs a little wide which is great for my feet. Having fibromyalgia and very sensitive feet, I need shoes and boots that are extremely comfortable. I just love them.
