I got them overnight at the last minute, for my biology field studies trip south of Belmopan, Belize. Excellent shoes for hiking in the jungle/rain forest (comfortable with a good grip) and walking in the very shallow edges of steams and not getting wet and excellent under those conditions.

Loudest shoes I have ever owned! These shoes squeak and leak. If you want loud noises with every step and wet feet. These are the shoes for you.

Brands I'd also recommend: Go barefoot rather than wear these things!

Great! Zappos was the only place that I can find Merrell's in a 14 wide, so guess where I'll look first next time. As always the shoes fit perfectly!

Great shoes. Treated them with a rain/stain repellent for additional protection. Feel & look great, but could be wider than their advertised 2E wide width. I wear a 4E New Balance sneaker most of the time, and I believe a 3E for me would be perfect in the Moab.

Great light hiking shoes. I ordered a pair of these for my current deployment to Afghanistan and have worn them on almost every patrol. My only complaint (if you want to call it that) is that: 1. The soles do start to lose the lugs when walking on rough terrain. 2. Not a lot of cushioning when carrying heavy loads. They are great for light to moderate loads and yes, they are waterproof (it does rain/snow here in the winter months). Will be ordering another pair soon.

Merrell is a total capacity shoe for summer, fall, winter and raining season. It's build and design is elegant. I bet it's not possible to wear the shoe without compliments from people around you. I have an eye for beautiful things without physically seeing them. You must have such an eye to love this shoe. My regret however was that the shoe does not come in size 15 wide, hence I ordered medium width because I wouldn't let go. Thanks Zappos.

Great shoe. Very comfortable inside cushioning. Great lacing system keeps the shoe snug without binding. Very light weight, but good gripping soles. I knew it was a winner as soon as I slipped it on. Great on the trail.

I purchased these hiking boots for some extensive hiking that I will be doing this winter and over the summer. I've only had the shoes on just long enough to break them in (that's why they have a 4 star rating for comfort). Once they get broke in they are extremely comfortable. So far they are acting exactly like the last pair of Merrell Moab's I purchased and will be durable. I was slightly apprehensive about the color, but it really isn't that bad. Mine are going to get dirty and it probably won't show as bad as some of Merrell's lighter colors. Overall, I really like these boots.

Amazon handled my order perfectly and the shoes were on sale, last ones in my size. But the left shoe front toe are was not flat as the right shoe was. I didn't want to send back, after wearing them the left shoe toe area is okay, not the same as the right shoe.

The most comfortable pair of shoes! No pinch, just good fit and great grip. Very light. I bought a grey pair and liked them so much I ordered the brown.

I'm impressed with the quality. Not an outside shoe for trampling through the snow. It is warm enough for running from car to buildings during winter. That is what I bought it for. More insulated and warmer than a tennis shoe but not as clumsy as a snow boot to wear around work.

Nice shoe. Good ankle support. Fit my very wide and tall 4E foot well. My big toe bumped into the front, so I have to go a half size bigger.

I purchased these boots from Zappos expecting to use them for some medium difficulty type hiking. Much to my approval they performed better than expected and they actually feel better than my most comfortable gym shoes so I wear these boots all the time.

This is my first pair of trail boots and I don't even hike! Doesn't matter. They look great and feel amazingly comfortable. I took out the insole and use a pair of Walk-fits. Not only do I look forward to walking the dog, but they have transformed how I feel about mowing the lawn. It's a typical example of the right tools making the job easier.

Way too tight. These things are very snug, too snug if you ask me. Based on reviews I had read on the net I called & asked if these ran small, long, etc. I was told "true to size". No way, no how. I will try to buy a full size bigger but my standard size that I've worn in everything from cowboy boots to flip flops is 8.5. These are too tight.
