- Textile and synthetic leather upper is lightweight and breathable.
- Strobel construction.
- Molded eyelets for secure lacing.
- Protective toe cap.
- Reflective elements for added viability in low-light conditions.
- Breathable mesh lining treated with Aegis® antimicrobial solution to keep odors out.
- Removable EVA footbed also treated with Aegis.
- 4mm Drop / 9mm Cush / 19mm Stack Height.
- Merrell® Float midsole is 10% thinner and 25% lighter to provide more feel and ground control.
- Merrell Air Cushion in the heel absorbs shock and adds stability.
- Molded nylon arch shank.
- Merrell Mic Move sticky rubber outsole.

The toe box is nice and roomy, so if you prefer to wear a thick or thin sock with this shoe, it shouldn't affect the overall fit. I knew these shoes were going to fit well before I even stood up to walk in them. I bought a red pair from Nordstrom but am buying them in another color from Zappos. I am glad Merrell has begun to compete with other companies in this class of shoe and this definitely will not be my last pair, either!
