- Dual density EVA anatomical footbed: Top layer provides comfort and support. The Bottom layer provides arch support and helps stabilize the foot.
- Compression molded EVA footframe and nylon arch shank provides cushioning.
- Medial post provides pronation control and stabilization to enhance your natural motion of walking.
- 70% EVA/30% rubber heel strike pad, with asymmetrical alignment, absorbs shock while reducing impact degree.

I absolutely love this company! I look here first for all my buying needs. Fast, efficient, terrific products! Helpful, friendly staff, too! My last purchase was for my husband who gave his new Merrell Meridian Sport's a big thumbs-up! He claims they are by far the most comfortable sports shoe he has ever owned -- he is old, he has owned many a sports shoe!

I have looked for a long time for a cool mesh shoe with good support and wide sizes that does not look like a running shoe so it can be used for versatile travel. This is it. Finally.

This shoe is extremely comfortable! It may be one of the most comfortable pairs I have ever owned, and that is really saying a lot, I know. The heel counter, the arch, the toe area, everything is perfect... for me. That said, the color is dowdy, and they look like maybe they should have velcro closures rather than laces.

These are the best sneakers I've had in years. Light weight, snug in the right places and roomy in the right places. Plenty of waffle knit so very cool on my feet. A little firm in the sole, not overly, but enough more than my old nb that I don't feel like I'm walking barefoot - just what I wanted. And they are so jet black that from a distance you can't tell if they are all leather or not.

Very light weight, and comfortable. Not good for colder weather since it "breathes" a bit. You can feel air movement as you walk. Great for the hotter temps. Better arch support than I thought (my feet notice if there isn't). Why do they make the laces so long?

What can I say!? Another quality Merrell product that’s very comfortable for walking and dressy enough to wear for casual occasions. I only wish that the Brindle color was available in wide width. But more importantly, how about Zappos’ excellent service? I kind of wish I had to buy shoes monthly!
