This shoe is gorgeous -- the dune color amazing and rich, the heel is perfect -- just enough height without causing any discomfort. Here's the problem with the shoe: It's smaller than the typical Merrell shoe -- definitely shorter and a trifle bit narrower -- though the width is still a true medium. I have two other Merrell shoes: a fur-lined clog and the Breeze. I bought the Luxe Wrap in black in a 7 and in the dune in the 7.5. (I've been wearing size 7 for 20 years in shoes that take a sock.) I was looking for a sleeker version of a clog, with a good heel. The black shows off the thumbnails more than the dune does. With this shoe, the 7 is fine without socks, but tight with them. And, for me, the 7.5 is a little loose with a sock and even a Dr. Scholl's insert. I'd have returned both of them and instead would have tried to find a shoe that works with or without socks (like the other Merrells I own), but I really like the styling of the Luxe Wrap. I'm definitely keeping the 7 and am wearing it to see if it stretches enough to accommodate a sock for our cold winters. If it doesn't, I'll probably keep the 7.5 too.

Do not try to wait tables in these shoes. Your feet will hurt terribly.

I love the style of this shoe. It's cute and the heel is perfect with pants; however, the shoe was much too short and tight for me. I usually wear an 8M. In this shoe, I'd need at least a 9...maybe even wide, but then I'd have trouble keeping them on.

You won't even know you have 'em on! I have bunions, plantar fasciitis, I run marathons, and work for an airline so my feet are overworked! These shoes are as comfy as a brand new pair of running shoes! They're awesome with jeans! I adore them!

This is one of my favorite pair of shoes. They resemble boots when on, and go with jeans as well as dressier pants. Another review mentioned that they seemed unstable - I do not find them unstable, in fact they feel very solid. However, when comparing to Danskos, they are narrower, so if you are used to Dansko, they will not feel as broad/stable as that. The one odd things for me is there is something about the material of the bottom, or how it is designed, that occasionally feels like it catches on the ground. Usually this is if I am trying to move too fast, and I have tripped, but I think it was my fault, not the shoes. The different colors seem to run slightly different sizes. I initially ordered the Dune, which I ended up needing in half a size larger. But I changed my mind about the color and ordered the bitter chocolate - those turned out too big at half a size larger and I reordered my regular size which fits fine. They fit very closely around my feet, which I like, but it is not the open clog feel of some shoes, so if you have wide feet you may not like these.

I bought these to wear with jeans and so I could slip them on and off easily. They look great with jeans. The color is really rich. After a year of treatment for plantar fasciitis, these were the first shoes without orthodics that I've purchased. They are very comfortable and have great support.
