I think Merrell has gone to European sizing. I wear a size 5 (American). I just received these,and they are very long. The box shows USA 5 and Euro 6. There is no indication online of this as a 36 size. Back they go!

Really cute, very comfy but the noise! On any surface other than carpet or grass, the soles of these shoes make the loudest squeaky noise. Totally embarrassing! Had to return them. Such a shame.

These sandals have been amazingly comfortable from the first day of wear. I am a teacher and am on my feet all day. The cushiony sole makes for a soft step. I usually wear a 6 1/2 but ordered these in a 6 based on some reviews stating that the foot bed from the toe strap seemed long. This adjustment made for a perfect fit. I ordered these in tan and black. These sandals would be great for all you ladies wanting to get away from sore feet.

These are very comfortable sandals but slightly too heavy for the flip flop style, which makes it a bit difficult to keep on my feet. They look great with my summer dresses and my jeans and will last forever.

I have to agree with some of the other reviews. I love Merrell shoes but these are just built strangely. The thong attachment seems to be in the wrong place. I bought a size up but when I slide my foot into the shoe my heel is at the very back of the shoe (almost off the shoe) and my toes are about an inch from the front end of the shoe because of the placement of the thong piece...very strange fit. Sorry, both pair are going back.

This is a nice style. They are heavier than usual, but still OK. I am returning them because they are not as cushioned as they appear. I need more cushioning than most. They would be nice shoes for most feet.
