These are one of the cuter pairs of boots Merrell has come up with. But they really should have stuck with Q Form in these. Whatever podiatrist-approved footbed they've got going on in there is not as good as their regular Q Form shoes. Put Q Form in these and they'd be 5 stars all around.

First, I had to go half a size smaller than the Merrell Encore Free I have. Even half a size smaller, they were still loose, especially in the heel and ankle. So loose that they rubbed, so I wear thick socks and put in heel gel cushions. Comfort wise, they are not as comfortable as my other Merrells. If I walk a ways on these, I can feel my feet start to ache. Still they're more comfortable than most of my non-Merrell shoes. They're much cuter than many Merrells and look great under jeans. But they don't work at all for skirts and tights, and they're so casual that they just can't go to the office, even under black pants. They also require breaking in. Wish they were as comfortable as my other Merrells, which I adore and can wear all day.

I absolutely love I love these boots. They are super comfortable. I do not want to take them off. I wear them up and scrunched down just a little and they stay up great. This is my third pair of Uggs and I like these the best. Do not wear them in the snow, rather buy a pair of Ugg snow boots which are just as comfortable.

Great little boots to wear with jeans. These are very comfortable, as are all Merrells. I could do without the waxed, aged look on the decorative strap, but it was easy to buff off with a brush. All in all I'm very happy with my choice!

Stylish, comfortable and durable! I bought these shoes for a recent trip to NYC. They are extremely comfortable (adequate for a wider foot); look great with jeans or slacks and held up well in the rain. I received many compliments on their style. (I would recommend giving them a spray of protectant before heading out in the rain with them.)

This is a nice mid-heel boot. It has a slightly bohemian flair that makes it contemporary. And it is very comfortable--fit is pretty much true to size. The leg opening isn't fitted on my medium calves, has about an inch to spare.

I just took these out of the box and I love them! I usually need a 10.5, and this 10.5 fits well. It fits like a clog, so it slides a little on my foot. Good support, good toe box for wide feet. Cute with jeans, and the small heel and accents are flattering!

Love my new boots. I have narrow, flat feet, and have to wear inserts to take up extra space. Have difficulty finding comfortable shoes. Have another pair of flatter Merrells I've been wearing for about 5 years that are still in good shape, but wanted something a little less sporty, more stylish with some height. Highly recommend the brand. They are well worth the price. Ordered around 8am one day and they were on my porch at 2pm the next day...will definitely use Zappos again!

I love these boots! They are so comfy and I love the style! They look great under jeans (you don't have to deal with a tall boot underneath), or with a skirt. They are lightweight and warm, and wide enough for my foot with wool socks on. I have trouble finding shoes that fit, but these boots are the best. I definitely recommend them. I bought a half size larger, because I wear heavy socks and also wanted to make sure I had enough room in the toes.

I think they are cute, and casual but not as casual as the flat Merrells. Unlike all my other Merrells, you cannot remove the insole, so I cannot use them with my orthotic insoles. These make my foot sit too high. They feel comfortable enough to walk without the orthotic, but I doubt I will be able to walk far or for a long time in them. They would probably feel very comfortable to people without bad feet. Because of the clog style and the slight heel, I do feel my narrow feet slipping in them just a bit, but they are not wide like Danskos at all.
Brands I'd also recommend: I'm a Merrell fan - haven't had much luck with others.

Once again, Merrell blows me away with another amazing shoe. I almost feel like a cowgirl in these when I pair them with jeans. True to Merrell form, they were exceptionally comfortable right out of the box. I have a wide foot, and the medium width was fine (which is not true for most brands). These fit similarly to other Merrells I own from the Encore and Tetra lines.
Brands I'd also recommend: Clarks, Naturalizer
