I have two other pairs of Merrell's dressier shoes that are incredibly comfortable. So I was sorely disappointed in these. Zero arch support. I've had to tinker around with different insoles and they're still not comfortable. Make my feet feel like they're rolling inward because there's no arch.

Look at the photos at the shape of the toe, how it follows the natural shape of the foot, and provides a little more space for the big toe. If you’re true size fits in every way but is sometimes a little snub toed on your larger foot, the Lorelei Lace solves that problem. This shoe works for a narrow heel but is still a roomy shoe for crew socks. The sole is thick enough to cushion your heel, but you can still feel your footing under the front of your foot. Not a hiking shoe, but comfortable for all day sightseeing or business casual at work. The black is nice but the smoke gray is even better.

Super comfortable right out of the box. Extremely lightweight with a fun trim look. True to size. I can wear them all day with no foot fatigue. Highly recommended.

I returned these shoes reluctantly because I think they are adorable and, overall, were very comfortable. But the toe area is rather narrow and in my regular size, my toes pressed against the end when I walked. I tried a half size larger, and my toes were fine, but my heel slipped too much. But the style itself is very soft and comfy if the toe box works for your feet. There isn't much arch support, though. The pair half size larger fit my orthotics most comfortably.

I was looking for comfortable walking-around shoes with more of a Euro-look (not athletic shoes) for an upcoming trip. I understand what other reviews are saying about no arch support, but I have to wear an orthotic anyway, so that is not so much of an issue for me. They were comfortable right out of the box, and they look cool. No, not for serious walking/hiking, but for my needs, I think they will be great.

These are my first pair of Merrells. I've heard only great things about them. I needed a pair of comfy yet not too athletic shoes for my job where I am walking all day. They fit fantastically. I have extremely high arches so I think I will need some more support. I'm an 8.5 and/or 9 depending on the brand - I ordered the 9's and they're just great.

I love these shoes! The fit is perfect, they are pretty cute, and they are very comfortable. I wear them to work every day. They look a little nicer than regular sneakers but are just as comfortable.
