Merrell Kids Moab Ventilators are great everyday shoe. This will be my son’s third pair. They last until he outgrows them and they still look good. Now his younger brother is requesting nothing but Merrells. My 8 yr. old has a narrow heel, slightly narrow foot and average arch...and these fit great.

Overall excellent shoe. Our 3 year old son used the heck out of these and they're tough. He's outgrown them, but we're buying the next size up. Highly recommended!

This is a great shoe for active kids with plenty of traction and toughness for trail and playground; however, I will NOT get shoes with the z-rap system again. Laces would have been much better - the elastic is wearing out where it rubs the plastic ring and the velcro strap is even showing signs of wear due to the same plastic ring. I’ll definitely buy a lace-up version of these when this pair is outgrown.

Durable shoe. My son blows through shoes in months, but this has withstood the Johnny test. Durable, good fit allowing him to run fast and stop at a dime. The straps are all durable allowing him to tighten up the shoe. We'll purchase them again.

My son thinks they're the best shoes. Easy on, easy off. He says he likes the vents in them because they keep his feet cool. He has fairly wide feet and it's hard to find sneakers for him. He has regular Merrells and they always fit great (and last forever). Two thumbs up on these ones.

They seem to run pretty true to size, but we sent them back because the velcro strap didn't seem to keep the tongue of the shoe in place very well and the opening by the ankle seemed to be wide and unsupportive. We went with a lace-up pair of North Face shoes instead and are very happy.

Very durable and comfortable shoe. Merrells are the only kids\' shoe I\'ve found with a good, cushioned arch support. And they look cool!

Zappos shipped me these so fast that I got them the next day! I was very impressed with that. The shoes themselves are great, very comfy and sturdy. I highly recommend Zappos for all shoe purchases because they do have excellent customer service and reasonable prices.

My 12 year old son has been wearing Merrells for two years now. They wear like iron. I've never seen boy's shoes keep their shape, soles and good looks like Merrells. He has a very wide foot and a high instep and Merrells have consistently been a great fit for him. I plan to continue to buy him Merrells as long as he'll wear them. The Moab Ventilators are a little thicker and water resistant for the fall and winter than some of the other Merrells, which is why we buy them for back to school.

Love this new Merrell! I have always been a big fan of Merrell shoes for my young sons. I recently purchased these Merrells for my 7 year old and they are great. He just slips them on and he is out the door. They are great for school, gym, and just running around. A good and secure fit. You can't beat them.

These Merrells were my first purchase on Zappos.com. We were looking to replace a pair of outgrown hand-me-down Merrells that my 5 year old loved. I don't normally buy velcro shoes because once the bristly side gets clogged up with dog hair and lint the shoes don't stay on! But the Moab Ventilator is different. I guess the 'Z strap' does most of the work and the velcro tab just seals the deal. In any case, the kid loves 'em and can slip them on himself. They function as sneakers, hikers, and handsome shoes all in one, and they fit great. We're pleased! Just one little thing though, we ordered on a Thursday and I thought there was a very real possibility of receiving them on Friday because of the awesome customer service, but they didn't show up until Monday.

This is the second pair of these sneakers we’ve purchased. They wear well, look stylish, and are easy on, easy off. Good value for the price and Zappos had the hard to find size for my son who is between youth and adult sizes.
