I am very satisfied with the look and quality of this shoe. I was very impressed with how fast the shoe arrived. Was a last minute order and I needed the shoes within a couple days so I added the extra shipping. I was refunded the shipping due to the fast service. Thank you!

In my experience size was smaller than expected. For two boys who have been wearing Stride Rites size US1½ and 3½, I ordered half a size up to allow room for growth (US2 and 4) -- but the larger-size Merrells were no bigger than the Stride Rites that they already had.

I really like these shoes. They have a great tread, and my son, whose feet always get very hot and sweaty, will be very comfortable in them since they breathe. However, they run very small. My son is a 12.5 (young boy), and I ordered a 13, but they fit him snugly! I will exchange for either a 13.5 or 14.

My 7 yr old son is very active. He has completely worn out this pair of shoes in 5 months. He loves them, but they not very durable. But comfort and style must have a fatal flaw: durability.

After reading great reviews of this shoe on many different websites we decided to purchase these for our 12 year old boy scout. Our first pair arrived but we felt there wasn't enough growing room so, we order a half-size up hoping they'd arrive before the weekend. They came late Friday afternoon and early Saturday morning he was off on a 20-mile hike. The first thing I asked him when he returned was, any blisters? His reply, nope. The shoes were great. No sore feet the day of the hike nor the next day. He's already talking that as he outgrows them, he'll only order these in a bigger size. Only had them 2 days and he's hooked.
