Super comfy and light weight. The string on the toggle has already torn a bit so I'm not sure how much longer they will last. My 5 year old likes them and they are an easy go to shoe for him because of the toggle.

My daughter lives these! The colors are great for any young girl and she is able to put them on and off on their own easily.

These shoes looked good until a few days after wearing. The elastic in the cross-strap was pulling the sides of the shoes at a funny angle. My son still loves the fit, so we kept them. I am picky with shoes that I spend this much money on, so I was a bit disappointed that the style was compromised so quickly.
We have had these shoes for two weeks and the grey lining at the toe is already worn through on one foot. I knew they would show dirt since they are white, but these shoes seem to be a dirt magnet and looked dirty and dingy after just a few days of normal wear. These shoes aren't the Merrell quality that I have come to expect. I do not recommend purchasing these shoes.

These are the shoes I have been searching for. My son has a wide foot, extremely active and is fashion conscious. This shoe takes care of all the above. For a while, I could not buy my son school shoes unless they had velcro because once the shoes stretched, then he would sometimes run out of the shoe. But with these shoes, that is not a problem. I would definitely buy these shoes again and again.

My daughter enjoys wearing these adorable shoes. I am in general pleased with them. It is a very sturdy shoe, however the sole is a bit stiffer than I would like.
Love these so much! my daughter says they are very comfortable and seem to be holding up really well. I love that they are a barefoot design and they allow my daughter to use her feet naturally and still be protected. The only thing I changed was the length of the laces...they came with super long laces that left big floppy bows...so we trimmed them and melted the ends...now they are perfect!

Lovely, well made. Had to return as my daughters toe went completely over the top. She has a pair of Nike Tennis shoes and several other brands, sandals in the same size so the definitely run small.
These shoes are great for my daughter as she needs pull on shoes. Pull-ons are not always supportive or durable - but these are both.

My son loves these shoes. I love the Merrell Barefoot collection and have several pairs of my own. They are so lightweight and flexible. I think it's important for kids to wear flexible-soled shoes for proper foot development, and these are incredibly flexible. He calls them his water shoes, which they really aren't, but they can get wet and dry quickly. He wears them without socks. I've already tossed them in the washer and they come out looking brand new. I definitely recommend them!
These are great looking and very comfortable summer sneakers. I got them again this year for both my kids. They are very lightweight, breathable, and easy to clean. They will smell bad if your kids wear every day without socks, but you can wash them easily which helps (they will be bone-dry by morning). Also, they are great for running around playgrounds/yard/town, but not enough support/cushion for a full day of sports. My eight year old wears "real" running shoes for his sports-oriented day camp and wears these every time/everywhere else because he just loves them. I cannot comment on how long they would last because my kids only wear them for four summer months (and then we toss them).
Lightweight. Fits the foot well. Sizing seems right on. Great style. My son loves these shoes, and he can run fast in them.
My 9 year old on has been wearing Tsukihoshi Kids for years and absolutely loves them for their comfort, ease to put on and fun sense of style. When it came time to move up a size, he did not anything Tsukihoshi Kids had to offer. We picked these instead and he absolutely loves them. They are also easier to clean.
I love this shoe! I was on the fence about buying it, and then when I saw there was only one left in my size I decided to go for it -- and I am so glad I did! I am a huge fan of Merrells and these did not disappoint. They felt so good to wear and walk around in. As mid-thirties adult woman with teeny feet I also am pleased when I can buy kids shoes that don't seem kid-ish. The purple was perfect!

These are phenomenal shoes. My son is the archetypal "low maintenance" (or maybe that's "low effort") kid. Shorts, t-shirt, sweat shirt if it's cold, and the least amount of footwear he can get away with. Yet he goes out of his way to get these on his feet. Great shoes that can even carry him through a decent amount of gym class, plus they wash and dry quickly, which is a big plus.

These are great for women with wide feet. I am in my 40's and often need WW width shoes for the forefoot and toe box. I am thin and athletic and have had good luck with boy's size 5 (same as women's 7) in the past. These are just perfect. They are quite wide, soft and have lots of room to wiggle my toes. I tried Keds Spirit Women 7W and the toe box is way too narrow. They are attractive as well. I like the soles - like my 5 Finger shoes.
Why, oh why won't Merrell make half sizes..? My daughter grew out of her size eight Merrells but the bleeping nine is too bleeping big still. Bleep. But other than that, these shoes rock. She begged and begged and we are keeping them till she grows into them, which won't be all that long at her current rate. They have enough padding and cushion to even wear without socks, and the Mary Jane band across the top is just as comfy. The support is high on the sides without being uncomfortable, so I'm not worried about her twisting her ankle while running around like a crazy thing. The flowers are a nice girly touch. And, with all of that, the shoes are still pretty light. Yay, Merrell. Except. For. No. Half. Sizes. Bleep.

I wear a ladies size 5 but need a wide width so I order a Youth size 4. these shoes are so comfortable and cheaper than the adult size. This is the second pair I have bought. I wore the first pair hard for over a year. They lasted fine, but I needed a nicer looking pair.
My four year old likes her pair a lot-she calls them her "exercise shoes" because she can play all over the playground and they don't fall off. I like that they are waterproof and have a back-strap and velcro closure. The footbed looks flexible and padded. The only thing that I find irritating is that the straps do not fit well through the buckle; in other words, when my daughter pulls out the straps all the way, they are really tricky to get back through the hole-the straps should be angled at the end. Sometimes, this can create a situation where my daughter is upset that she can't put them on herself. However, their versatility is such a huge plus (she can wear them to the playground, dressing up, etc.) that I'll probably order another pair for my other daughter.

Nice shoes, light, easy to put on. My second pair. Good for school and the feet do not get hot because of the mesh.
These shoes are perfect for my 8 year old. He loves how easy they are to put on and take off. Plus he can wear them for gym class. When he grew out of his first pair we bought another pair.
