Comfortable and good quality. However, they are quite rigid and not really flexible making it quite difficult to put on and off.

The sides of this shoe dug into my ankles and it was incredibly uncomfortable. I tried to give it time to break in but it never did. The sides where the rubber meets the leather was also simply glued on and started coming apart after a few weeks. The shoe itself is pretty comfortable but also very stiff. It didn't move very well at all. I am glad Zappos has an awesome return policy. What a shame. These shoes look so nice.
Brands I'd also recommend: Keen Bidwells

I owned and loved my pair of Merrell Jungle Mocs for years but wore them out. The Kaolin offers an upgrade in style with the nice look of leather. It is worth noting that I can't stand up and easily slide my foot into the leather Kaolin in the hands-free way I could with my suede Jungle Mocs. Because the leather makes the Kaolin stiffer, I have to sit down to put them on. A minor difference more than offset by the improved style of the Kaolin.

A very nice looking shoe, I bought mine to wear to work. Runs small though a size 10 is usually perfect for me but this was snug all around and pinched at the heel. I am bumping up to an 11. Aside from the sizing problems, I would recommend.

Nice looking shoe. I've had Keens before and these are similar. As others have mentioned, the foot opening is rather snug and hasn't loosened up. Seem to run a little small as with my "true size" I'm forced to wear ultra thin golf socks in order to wear these. Look cool and felt rugged. Not very breathable, however.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. HOWEVER, (and this is a big “however”) I can't get them on without a shoe horn. The space the shoe gives you to put your foot is small. I had to order a half size larger than I normally wear just to be able to use the shoe horn! Then, when I take them off, the insert comes out with my foot. Sounds like a bad review, but it isn't. This is a very high quality shoe that gives me all-day comfort.
