I wore out several pair of Jungle Mocs years ago and then for some reason didn’t buy another pair until now. They’re a good utilitarian-type shoe w/some style. Plus, I like the couple of inches they give me in height. They're easy to slip on and off hands-free. Merrells are great shoes; so well made, but they don’t fit me well. But I like them enough to buy them anyway and make them work. I have a narrow foot and find my size range to be an 8 or an 8 1/2 depending on the manufacturer. Since Merrell only offers an M width, I get the 8, which is just a tad too short, and the heel too wide. The 8 1/2 is too large overall. All things considered, they are still comfortable. Wish Merrell would do N width. I love Nike and SoftWalks brands because they offer an N width, and I can wear an 8 1/2.
I'd also recommend: SoftWalk, Arche, Gentle Souls, Nike, Ugg, Bella Vita, Kenneth Cole

I recently got these and love them. I live in VT and needed something pretty versitile that I could wear in winter, mud, driving, and to work even. They are very comfortable and I frequently wear them all day long. These are great and very high quality. I am between a size 6.5 and 7. I first purchased the size 7 and they were too big, and had to exchange. So if you are between sizes, I would go smaller with this particular shoe.

Just the best walking shoes. I live in NYC and walk to work. These shoes are not only comfortable, but waterproof and able to negotiate potholes, irregular sidewalks, and all other hazards that NYC throw at you. I just love 'em.

I had to update my review of this shoe. I'm a regular Keen wearer and bought these because my husband adores his. I bought them before a trip to Europe in the wintertime, but the higher footbed made my legs sore for the first few weeks. I was going to wear my Keens instead, but chose these. Glad I did! They're easy to slip on/off on the plane, are warm in freezing weather, no lace holes to get water and snow into, very cushioned, and black is always chic in Paris. My legs have adjusted to the arch, and I wear these more than my other shoes. Perfect for traveling and for everyday.
