I needed a basic style everyday color sandal to wear with jeans and pants specifically. The moment I put these shoes on I knew they were comfortable but didn't realize they had such "give" allowing me to just slip them on. I would highly recommend this style shoe for comfort.

This biggest challenge when I received these shoes was removing the "faux foot" insert which the manufacturer uses to keep the shape of the shoe! The Olive color is quite attractive and a great alternative to black or brown. Since this shoe only comes in whole sizes I ordered an 8 (I am usually an 8.5) an the fit is great. The leather is fairly firm but I suspect it will soften up with wear but yet not stretch so much that the shoe feels mushy. Nice walking sole without being too rugged.

Have to return them. Really cute and comfortable but just too small. I have really high arches and that part on the top of the foot by the ankle is too snug. Also, if you have short toes these might not work for you. I wish I could just tweak them a bit and I think I'd wear them constantly in the summer. Bummer.

I love the closed heel style, and the footbed is really great. This will look great with skirts, pants or crops!

Pretty color in a nice, simple sandal. Felt good on the foot. Fit was true to size, but I returned it because there wasn't enough arch support for me. Some, but not enough.

I am usually all over the map for my size, but these babies in a 10 are close to perfect. I am going to rock these sandals all summer long as soon as it gets here. I did wear them one day just because, and they were comfy out of the box and no pinching anywhere. I really like the color too. Gotta love the Zappos!

I feel compelled to write a second review of these sandals after wearing them. My initial rating was five stars because they seemed to feel pretty good out of the box. However, after wearing them a couple of times I found that the leather was stiff and hard and created blisters on my ankle. I was surprised and disappointed. Although they were firm out of the box I assumed they would only get softer with wear.

Loved the orange color and ability to slip on this sandal. But the top edge of the strap near the front of the ankle was irritating as soon as I put it on. Too bad! I wanted to like this sandal as much as all the other reviewers. I had to send it back.

Cute shoe, but I returned it because it ran really big. I thought the leather was pretty stiff and the elastic at the back was not very stretchy, making it a little tough to put on - especially if I would have gotten the size smaller. Arch support was okay but I would have preferred more.

Upper is very stiff and rubs the top of the foot. Not much arch support. Just doesn't have the level of comfort I expect from Merrell.

As much as I wanted to like these, they are going back. I might have been able to get over the complete lack of style and military olive green color, but with this much leather around bare feet in an NC summer I might as well wear sneakers. Plus,my heels ride up with every step - can you say blisters?

These are great walking shoes. The style is a bit maculine. I like the slip on style. Might be a little difficult for people with high arches.

My feet stick to the bottom of these shoes. I got blisters from the front of the shoes. These are not as good as this brand usually is.

Very comfortable shoe. I will wear these all the time with shorts, pants or a casual skirt. There is only one change that I would make. I wish that there were a way to tuck the loop on the back of the shoe in, so it is not so noticeable when you are wearing it. Although the loop is very hand to pull the shoe on, it detracts from the look when you are wearing it. I have considered cutting it off, but like I said, it does come in handy to pull the shoe on.

Bought these in the Lychee color. Very pretty dark coral. Not as bright orange as they appear on my screen. I wear a 7.5 and ordered these in a 7, which was a good fit for me. I have slightly wide, flat feet and these fit well.

I have a very sore right foot; spend a good part of each day on my feet and must look moderately well put together. These sandals fit all of my requirements. They are secure in that my foot won't fall out or off, they are comfortable and they look nice. They are a big loose which works well for my right foot and I can tolerate for my left. I live in a very hot climate and need room in my shoes. No shoe is perfect but Merrell's come pretty damn close, for me.
