Excellent service from Zappos and a very well made shoe from Merrell. I have a bunion on my left foot so I need to be careful when buying shoes. I had a pair of Merrills that were more summery so I ordered these because I thought they would be ok since they are just like my older Merrells and they are. I\'m loving them. They are just what I expected. I\'ll be wearing them at work, just walking around the office and I like something I can kinda slip out of when I\'m at my desk.

They are true to size, usual great Merrell support. I can always just put on Merrell's without any break in time and I have already gotten another pair in blue!

So glad I bought these! Super comfy, supportive, yet stylish. I walk a few miles in NYC to and from work each day, and didn't want to wear sneakers. These are a great alternative. I'll be buying another pair in the stone color. As for the strap on the instep, it is adjustable, so you can snug them up/loosen them depending on your hosiery choice or just for a better fit.

I love-love-LOVE this shoe! With my high instep, I often can't wear slip-ons but the adjustable strap on this shoe is perfect! They are comfortable and cute.

I have the summer version of this shoe and love it- so I ordered an 8 since the summer ones run large for me (I'm usually an 8.5 in other brands) but they JUST fit- and I want to wear socks, so I am returning them. Will try the 8.5- and also the encore ice.

I purchased these shoes because I was looking for something comfortable, but more stylish and not a sneaker. I found exactly what I wanted in these Merrells! They were comfortable from day one, and remain so after a month of wearing almost daily. I've mostly worn them barefoot but am starting to wear with thin socks, both work fine. I'm even able to take long walks with no trouble. Your heel doesn't slip out, but it's not the same feeling as a secure sneaker. Still, they stay on your feet without difficulty and are way more secure than a clog or slide. I do wish the arch support was a bit better, but I have flat arches so for most it will be very supportive. I've never had a problem with Merrells and will continue to purchase them through Zappos. I'm a professional dog walker, and I like these shoes for their firm arch support. They're also easy to kick off when coming into the client's house (unlike lace-ups). I'll be wanting another pair of these Sidesteps in another color.

Overall, this is a great shoe. I love the stone suede color. It is like "fawn", more grey than brown. The only issues I have are that the insoles, while comfy, make the shoes squeak like I am an old lady. This has been an issue while walking through the library. The squeak ceases when I remove the insoles but the shoe is not very comfortable without it. The other feature I wish this shoe had was the "shearling" some of the Merrell clogs have. It would be the ideal winter shoe with it. As is they are not exactly a warm shoe. I hate cold tootsies. All that aside, they fit me very well and seem very true to size. Sporty and easy to slide into, a great shoe for a mom on the go.

Love the style! I usually wear a size 11 in Merrell, but these seemed a bit too big. They seemed too wide. I tried them on with thicker socks, but it didn't help. I love the look of the shoe but I did return because the size was not perfect. I may try the 10.5 or I may just go back to the fleece lined shoes (they seem to hug my feet better).

I love these shoes! They are true to size and oh so comfortable. They have good traction which is important to me as I have a disability. I love the fact that the insole is removable as it allows me to wear these shoes with my brace.

Wonderful shoe. I am a committed Merrell fan and these did not disappoint me. They have all the great features of Merrell shoes, but are a bit different in styling, which is fine with me. Highly recommend this shoe.

These shoes make big feet look fabulous and small. I wear Merrell size 11 - thank you Zappos for stocking larger sizes. I do happen to be a Merrell person to begin with. I get so many compliments on these shoes. Usual Merrell comfort. Hooray.
