I like the look but there is no cushioning. The reason I buy Merrells is because they typically do not require orthotics or cushion inserts. These needed added cushion. I am not paying so much for shoes that requires additional cushion. Please bring back the comfort/cushion, Merrell!

Comfy, longer and wider but will be good with socks, the toe was a little more ''square'' than pictured - looks like a ''loafer'', but stylish, soft comfy inside - will be nice addition for cold weather.

I was really looking for a shoe to wear that would keep my feet warmer in the cold Wisconsin winters and these seem to be a good choice. Although, I have to agree with a previous review as to the more squareness of the front of the shoe. Which I actually like a little better. I wasn't so sure I was going to keep these as when I put them on they were a little sloppy fitting in the heel area. But after wearing them around the house for awhile they actually felt okay. I really do like them and they do keep my feet (which are always cold) really warm. They are pretty pricey but I think are worth it.

I usually don't wear Merrell's but I love these. I wear a 7 or a 7.5 but went down to a 6.5 on this style. I got the black so they look a little dressy but feel like my slippers. Very nice when changing into boots at the slopes.

These I got as an update to another pair of Merrell's winter shoe. My older Merrell's are about 15 years old and are in wonderful shape! I will use the old ones for light ranch work and use these new ones for off the ranch times. They are extremely easy to clean, comfortable and the new Encore Buckle Puff are very stylish looking and don't really look like a winter shoe. I get lots of compliments on them and the black color is awesome! Love Zappos immediate delivery and love their staff with helping me. Don't get any shoes anywhere except Zappos, they are a 10+ online store. Love 'em! PS: These shoes run a little wide, but it is easy to deal with, no problems wearing them now for over a month. Yeah! Zappos!

I have another Merrell that looks similar, is the same style, but without the fur, and my size fits perfectly. I ordered these in both my size and a half size smaller just in case. They are huge! Both are too large, although I suspect would be comfortable if they fit right. I don't want them tight or even fitted, just not sloppy.

I'm a Merrell Chill freak and this shoe was a total letdown. At first I was excited about the new design as I have every Chill shoe in every color. This shoe is not as stable as the Chills, is much larger in fit than the chills and the structure of the shoe does not appear to be the same as the Chills. Bottom line...stick with the Chill series.

These are beautifully made shoes with excellent leather quality! However, Merrell totally cut corners when making the insole of these shoes as if by adding fur it made up for the lack of support/comfort. The removable insole was nothing more than a flimsy material with minimal fur covering. The Merrell Encore Buckle Puff would be the perfect shoes for someone who is looking for cute shoe to put their own orthotic into with the fur insole over it. While I tried to go down half a size based on other reviews the shoes were just too short. When I received my regular size 8 the length was perfect but there was just too much room in them. Adding my orthotic (which I do not make a point of wearing) made the shoes fit absolutely perfectly. I returned these shoes because I could not fathom the cost for such an awful insole. I should have listened to the other reviewers but I had to see it to believe Merrell would make shoes that were less than phenomenal. Unfortunately, I was proved wrong.

I wanted to love this shoe. I love the idea of a gray clog with faux fur. Sadly, I found the size 9 too loose in the heel bed, and the 8.5 too small in the toe area. Not the right shoe for me, I sent them back. I normally wear a 40 in Dansko, 41 in Naot.

All winter I wore these shoes in black, now I'm gliding through spring with the rust colored pair. They are soft and comfortable and have just enough sparkle to have a fun look. Merrell shoes are always good quality and good value for dollar.
