I love the encore series but need the adjustable ones because I have a low instep. I love these, but needed to have a cobbler make a hole between the 2nd and 3rd holes as one was too tight and one too loose. The need more holes or a Velcro strap to make them more adjustable. Otherwise, these are great.

This shoe is a floppy mess, and that's coming from someone with wide feet. They almost felt like wearing a loose flip flops. Fine for a very casual shoe/slipper type shoe, but not for much more.

I am the world's biggest fan of Merrell, so I was very excited to see this new style! However, when I got it, I was disappointed to find that they have changed the design and made the heel guard in the back about 1/2" shallower. This half-inch difference is just enough to make it extremely annoying because it rubs your heel in a very uncomfortable way. I ordered these in two sizes, tried them with and without orthotics, and they were uncomfortable in every combination.

Not the most comfortable Merrell shoes. I usually love this brand but have been disappointed with the low comfort level. I fine I avoid wearing them when possible.

Merrell shoes are the only shoes that I can wear, besides running shoes. I also am on my feet all day so I need comfortable shoes. These shoes are able to accommodate my orthotic arch support and they are stylish. Thank you Merrell and Zappos!

I am practically living in Merrells and love them. This pair is no exception - great right from the box. Really good arch support, can stay in these shoes all day without wishing I could kick them off. Good looks, excellent quality, highly recommended.

Thank you for offering a Encore style with adjustable buckle. I have a rather high instep and the nova and breeze styles are just too tight across the top of my foot. If only Merrell would offer the MJ styles again. They are perfect! As always, you service is tops.

Very comfortable and lightweight shoe. Unlike other mules these do not make my feet look twice as big. I ordered a pair for my mom who had leg surgery recently and she loves them.

I just wore these while walking literally miles around France. I wore them every day and they were really comfortable the entire time. When they got dusty I simply wiped them with a slightly damp cloth and they looked great again.
