I had been searching for some waterproof winter boots that could be worn for multiple different activities-they had to be warm enough to wear outside during the winter, cool enough to keep on inside, able to look good with most kinds of clothing, and comfortable enough to hike and/or snowshoe in. For the most part, these boots fit the bill perfectly. I have worn them around town, to work, and on several hikes-one a 3 mile round trip hike up a rocky ridge. For that last venture, they were actually adequate though somewhat too flexible to give enough support- the sole is more athletic shoe than boot. They are obviously meant more for snow. I crossed an icy creek in them and some water immediately leaked in above the ankle, but not much. Again, these would be fine if it were only snow. I still highly recommend these boots based on comfort, style and versatility. I bought my usual size 7 and 1/2 and they fit perfectly.

Love the look of the shoe! Is sturdy and feels great when walking on snow and ice. Waterproof, which is great. I have a big calf, and hardly fit into any boot higher than my ankle., This boot has room to accommodate a larger than normal calf. Highly recommend.

Cute soft & lots of room to get your pant leg in...if that's your urge. Not bikerish. Black has like an acid wash black look on the sides.

I don't see how these can be classified as a snow boot, there's absolutely no traction on the bottom. The ankles on the sides are also a little tight and the boot material resembles moon boots. They may be waterproof but they're not really that warm and when I walk my socks fall down and my big toe hurts.

Pretty cute design, though I'd recommend black rather than brown. The construction is solid and supportive, and my insoles worked well in them. What made me return them is they're very warm -- which is perfect for snow and outdoors, but not for casual wearing.

As others noted, this boot can fit around a normal sized calf! A rarity indeed. However, this boot has no arch support. It is truly the weirdest feeling boot/shoe I have ever put my foot into. I cannot recommend this boot to anyone.
