I almost returned these shoes because they are a close fit and do not allow for thick socks. I ended up keeping them over looser fitting boots for their style. Call me vain. I wear an 11 and felt the style of the shoe minimized the appearance of my big foot, some other boots only exaggerated the size of my foot. I can get a sock on, but not a thick sock, I think they could have allowed for a pinch more room. The boots have a shoe like fit.

I ordered these the same time as the Moab Mid Ventilated, but these felt a 1/2 size smaller. They're nice boots, but I'd get a 1/2 size larger to fit. Really cute boot!

I absolutely love this boot. It is so comfortable and keeps my feet nice and dry. Great for hiking!

I bought these boots for an upcoming trip. I didn't have that much leeway time to go out and try different hiking boots. I heard Merrell was great when it comes to hiking. These boots definitely do not disappoint! Even though I didn't have a break-in period so I had to wear these straight out of the box. The boots were very comfortable and I didn't experience any blisters. My feet did get a little sore but I think that will go away once the shoes stretch out a bit. Definitely get 1/2 a size up from your normal size.

Bought these shoes for a Girl Scout camping trip. I know you're not supposed to wear new shoes to hike and camp, but I needed a pair desperately. We hiked in rain, hail, light snow, and mud. These shoes were awesome! They kept my feet dry and they were comfortable to hike in. From the reviews, I went up a size and they worked well with my thicker wool socks. My only complaint is the shoe laces are slippery and they kept coming untied even after I double knotted them.
