My second pair. Very comfortable right out of the box. I wear 9.5 with all the Merrell shoes I have purchased and these are the same.

These shoes are fantastically comfy and have great cushioning and support. My wife and I walk 3.2 miles every day on hard surface streets and these shoes make it a pleasure. I have had Merrell Chameleons before and this version is better. My prior Chameleons wore out in less than a year. Hope to get more mileage out of this pair given the high cost. My actual shoe size measured with one of those foot tools is 9 wide. These shoes are 9.5 medium and fit perfect.

These shoes are absolutely awesome! I live and work in Saudi Arabia and put these through the ringer hiking and walking in the dessert extensively. I have had another pair of Merrell shoes for six years and they are still going strong as well. I just wanted a fresher look casual dressing. I highly recommend these as you will not be replacing these quality made shoes quickly.

Still very stiff after over 2 months of daily wear. Not a comfortable fit at all. Would not recommend.Would return to Zappos but I'm sure I've worn them too long trying to break them in.

I was excited to find that Merrell went back to the style of the previous chameleon and not the third version which was an ugly design. These shoes offer good support and handles well in a little rain but they are not meant to be submerged in water or a serious down pour. I wish they offer a lighter color soon because the stone is a little darker than what I prefer. I am on my feet for at least 12 hours a day for work so I am always looking for good shoes, socks and insoles. The life of previous Merrell shoes have always been a year for me.
Brands I'd also recommend: Keen

Excellent comfort and quality as expected of Merrel. These shoes are a little bit bulkier than I expected, but they are definitely heavy duty. They are great for every day wear and moderately difficult hikes.

I had a pair of these boots for about 6 years, then recently when looking for new ones, I tried on just about every other pair in the store before settling on these again. Great shoes. Well built, keep my feet comfortable (if a little warm) I wore these on rough terrain in Africa, and while hiking around the Northwest. Issues, I typically wear a size 13. Need these in a 14. They breathe OK, but I tend to get a little warm in them.

Another excellent Merrell product. I've probably owned over 20 of their shoes in the last several years. These land high in the rankings. Seem very durable and will last for quite a while.
