I love these boots; I have bigger calves and these actually fit and are very comfortable to wear.

I have only worn these boots once (out of the house) because I was so nervous I would regret my first $100+ boot purchase. Last Sunday was a typical rainy October New England day and I wore these boots out to have lunch and run errands. They were warm, comfortable, and stylish, even with my practical raincoat. I love the fit and color (espresso). I am typically a size nine in Merrell and that is what I ordered for the boots with no problems so far. I've worn them with thin Smartwool socks and will still have room for thicker ones as the colder weather comes in. The only issue might be the fit in the calves; which, for me, means I could only wear jeggings, leggings, tights, etc. with them, not skinny jeans if there is any bunching of fabric when I go to zip up. Overall, another excellent shoe from Merrell.

Great looking boot. True sizing - there was plenty of wiggle room for the toes. Great small heel so you can walk miles. But not waterproof at all! I walked in dewy grass and got soaked. Going to keep them anyway and will spray with waterproofer.

These boots are amazing. They are exactly what I was searching for. I live and work in the city, and I had been searching high and low for a boot that could survive the unpredictable weather of New England. I also needed a boot that I could put serious miles in without hurting my feet. These boots definitely fit the bill. They are super comfortable and they don't rub my feet anywhere. Some reviewers found them not to be waterproof, however I have worn them in torrential rain and snow and my feet were perfectly dry even after walking in the wet weather for miles. The bonus is that they are stylish, which was something that other waterproof boots didn't offer.

This is a very comfortable boot. So far I have worn them in a very cold climate (Deer Valley, Utah), I wore them to a pub for beer & dinner and last night to a football game. Suitable for many casual occasions when comfort is essential. I would say only wear with pants tucked in & you will feel cute(leggings or skinny jeans). My 73 year old mom bought Merrell boots at my encouraging (shorter profile boot) & every time I see her she has those boots on.
