I bought these to replace my worn out North Face pull on boots, but I'm second guessing my decision now. The Merrell boots have a floppy boot stem part, which means it's a little difficult to slip your foot into, unlike the North Face's. The Merrell's also nearly pull off my heavy socks every time I remove them (with the North Face's, the sock came off inside the boot as you walked, which is why I switched). Boot is dry as advertised.

I bought these boots for my son, who camps at the beach a lot. They have arch supports which was important for him. They have proved to be very comfortable. They are not fuzzy inside. Overall, he has liked them very much.

Overall a very good shoe. Not quite as warm as I had expected, and a bit difficult putting on (the rear loops vary in size and cannot get my finger through). Other than these minor issues I am pleased with my purchase and find them very comfortable.

I work in the Midwest a few days every month and bought to replace my 10 year old Columbia lace ups. I like the look, the waterproof feature, and the weight. They are very comfortable. They are very difficult to pull on. The throat of the boot is very narrow (and I have a very thin foot ). The pull tabs are to small to grab making these a pain to put on and impossible with damp socks. They seem to be more of a mid weight boot as far as insulation goes also.

I've worn them 3 times; at first I thought they were great as feet were warm, dry and comfortable. Today after I took them off my sock were wet at the toes on both feet. I am returning them.

Comfortable, stylish and perfect fit. Ordered 1/2 size larger to accommodate bulkier socks (which really don't need as keep the feet nice and warm with regular socks). Bulkier socks help with chafing at the top of the boot though.

Order a whole size bigger for thick socks. A half size bigger for normal socks. Overall a very comfortable boot.

Absolutely horrible slip-on boot design. Almost a death struggle to put these boots on/take off as the shaft is too narrow, especially for people with wide feet. Very minimal toe cushion/insulation leading to uncomfortable cold toes. Top rim of the shaft does not have any soft padding leading to constant chaffing of the shins... which can be really uncomfortable with the dry winter skin. Won't be recommending this style from Merrell.

I have an average foot and a size 12 is a good fit. I think these run tight and small as I could not get my foot into the boot through the turn of the ankle. Trying a 13.

Very comfortable and warm. I expected them to feel loose when walking because of being a slip-on, but they are not. I could wear these boots all day and be comfortable.

I really like Merrells and have always had good luck with their products. The Bergenz fit that mold. I was look for a waterproof boot that quickly slips on, is very warm (I live in Chicago), ad decent looking. I've owned the Bergenz for about 6 weeks and tested them in cold (15 degrees), rain and snow, and they are very easy to slide on and off. Great product even though they are a bit pricey.

No snow to try them out in this winter, but they look good and fit perfectly. And Zappos once again proves itself to be the best online retailer in the world. Easy to find the shoes and place the order, and the package even arrived a day or two before I expected it!
