Cute, but they're going back. Really strange sizing - way too long and way too wide, and the ribbon tie is slippery and doesn't feel like it's going to stay tied.

I bought this shoe because the wonder glove was way too narrow for me. This shoe, based on reading the other reviews, was on the wider side. True, it does run larger, wider...Maybe even a full size larger. I have to return the 6.5, I am normally a 7. It still felt too long. I hope the 6 fits, as it is very lightweight and easy to slip on. I do feel like my feet are a little crushed in the front, but I'm thinking that's because the shoe is a little long, and pushes my feet forward. The straps are flimsy, but looks cute laced up.I wouldn't use the straps, anyways.

I have a wider forefoot, and a narrower heel from being barefoot most of my life, and many woman's shoes squeeze my toes too tight. These are almost exactly what I was looking for. They have a very thin moulded sole, great traction, don't give me blisters, and a roomy toe box. They are high cut enough to not show any toe cleavage (if that's important to you). They flex in all ways possible, which makes them a true minimalist shoe. I wear these as an everyday shoe and to work (at a high school). The stitching detailing is nice and subtle. These are stretchy and really hug my feet and stay on, unlike other ballerina flats. Also the ribbons are easily removable (excellent design choice).

I am a big Merrell fan. My whole family wears them. I really love this shoe. It is a cute ballet flat and very comfortable. I usually would stay away from this kind of shoe but the fabric does not dig in to your heel. The ribbon is removable which I love. Only drawback is that the neoprene-like fabric of the body does not continue up under the leather toe. Whatever fabric is used to back the toe box is rough. I have to wear those little toe cover/slide socks but when I do, everything is wonderful with the shoe. I am usually a 6.5 but it was too big. I went with the 6.

I really wanted these shoes because they're not only functional, they're cute! But they run small (in length). I normally wear a woman's 11 with room to spare, so that's what I ordered. But I could barely get my feet into these. Way too short to wear without damaging my toes. They fit as though they are a full size smaller than marked, and since Merrell doesn't make them any larger than their so-called size 11, I'm screwed. For those of you with wide feet that are not larger than woman's size 10, good news: these Merrell Barefoot Serene Gloves appear to be nice and wide!

Love, love, love this shoe! I can't normally wear a ballerina flat, because I have bunions, but these are soft and don't pinch anywhere. They felt a bit bigger than a regular 8.5, which is the size I wear in Merrells, but with a sock they fit perfectly. Would love to have them in every color!

These shoes are awesome. I love my Vibram Fivefingers shoes, but they warranted a lot of stares in the office. The Merrell Barefoot Serene Glove is just the right shoe to feel barefoot, look good and feel great at the end of the day!

These shoes are super cute and comfortable, but they really pinched my toes and were also loose in the heel. I normally wear a size 11 and these size 11's were a bit too tight in the toe box. Cute shoes, though!

Love it! Looks great, feels great. One more thing, I got light ones, so it get dirty quickly (my kid always step on me feet) and since I still didn't try to wash them, I kinda can't say how they look after cleaning. But they really really comfortable for everyday wear!

1. Needed white shoes. These are silver and off-white. 2. I'm a solid 8.5 in Merrell shoes, 9 in Merrell sandals/boots. I ordered both the 8.5 and 9 and neither fit -- in both sizes my foot swam in the shoes. The shoe was so wide/big it fell off my foot. 3. I wanted to love this style (without the ribbon) and have an alternative to Cole Haan Air Bacara flats for comfort and fun. Didn't happen. They go back in both sizes.

No. Sadly, no. Why doesn't Merrell make a barefoot "dress" shoe that allows me to tighten the instep? I can't do ballerina flats - wide forefoot, very narrow rest of foot. I ordered these expecting them not to work, and they don't. The ankle tie is uncomfortable and does nothing to secure the middle of the shoe, which sloshes around. It also kind of ruins the line of the foot and ankle, which I didn't expect. I had hoped that the middle and heel of the shoe would be stretchy enough for the whole thing to feel secure with just the ankle tie, but no. A dress shoe with an adjustable buckle, please! And not velcro!

This is my second pair of Merrell Barefoots. I also have the Merrell Lithe Glove. There are many days at work where I spend 7+ hours running around or standing. My feet, ankles, and knees always winded up hurting after wearing normal flats, so I bought these. While they are not as cute as normal flats, they definitely have completely eliminated the pain I feel after a day on my feet. My pointer toe rubs a little (which it also does on the Lithe Glove) but not enough to bother me, and when I went to a half size larger, my heel was falling out.
