Great shoe. Super comfortable but runs a little small. I had to exchange for a half size up.

These are my second pair from the Merrell Barefoot collection (my first being the Pure Glove). I bought the black in my usual size, a 10. My feet are narrow, and in a size 10 these fit perfectly and super comfortably, but they do make my feet look longer, kind of like rabbit feet (or maybe I'm just self conscious). Very comfortable to walk in and plenty of toe room. Again, since these are barefoot shoes, they have very little arch support, but that really is how they are supposed to be.

I love these shoes. I bought them in red, wore them one day, and bought another pair in black. I've worn them for everything from regular walking, to Turbokick, to Boot Camp class, to running. I ran 3 miles in them yesterday. I probably shouldn't have gone that far my first time wearing them because my calves are rather sore today due to the fact that you have to run a little different. It took absolutely no time to break them in. These are a great alternative for those who have thought about wearing the Vibram 5 Fingers. You'll draw less attention to yourself. I have rather wide feet and they had plenty of room. Highly recommended!

I couldn't really tell from the picture whether I should order my regular size 7 or a size 6.5. Glad I ordered the 7 because it feels perfect and just enough room for a very thin sock if I choose to wear one. The shoes feels so very light but sturdy. Ordered it last night, got it this morning, Zappos is amazing!

These are by far the best casual/walking/running shoes I've ever owned. Super lightweight and breathable. I've ordered a couple of different ones for my upcoming trip to India and these were by far the best. Love 'em.

Wanted to like this shoe, but not enough arch support, and it felt too hot on my foot. Didn't breathe well enough to wear without socks.

I'm in love with these shoes! I am one of those people who would go barefoot 24 hours a day if I could. These shoes feel like walking barefoot, with just enough sole to protect my feet from pebbles, etc. They don't need any breaking in time at all.

These feel amazing to run around the office/house and do CrossFit style workouts. I have not yet tried to run in them - gradually moving towards more and more minimalist shoes and I know I'm going to need to adapt to these. I have wide feet and felt more comfortable in the larger size of my normal range (9 to 9.5). These require either no socks or thin socks - no matter what size you get, their light snug fit will be upset by big socks.
Brands I'd also recommend: Like Vibram Five Fingers but not as funny looking!

Ahhh, this is pure comfort. I wore it all day the first day, and my feet were not tired at all. Plus I could feel air getting in through the mesh area and it was great. Perfect for summer and extremely light weight for traveling. I'll get another color soon. Would rate it over 5 stars!

Just what I've been looking for! Cute, flexible, trim, and shaped like my own feet for once. I just got them today and have already taken them on a 3-mile walk. No problems, no pinched toes, no desire to take them off. Awesome.

Love these shoes! I've been trying to get into barefoot running and these are the ticket! They are so comfortable and I can go trail running with them. Heads up - the antimicrobial property doesn't last forever if you do wear them without socks, but it's not bad. I wear these everywhere!

These shoes are great! At first I was concerned they were to stiff and that there was something going on with the arch, but after just two runs they are totally broken in and I have full movement of my foot, I don't feel like the shoe is impeding at all on how my foot naturally moves. I like to wear these with no socks, I only noticed a rubbing problem on one of my feet at the heel; this didn't take long to go away, it just took a couple runs with a band-aid on. I wear these shoes all the time, they're actually stylish and look good to wear around town, unlike vibrams. They are also great on the trail for hiking, the sole and the rubber under the arch is great for protection from rocks and other trail obstacles. Only problem: stinky! However, the extra special stink is probably to be expected out of any shoe worn continually with no socks. I'd recommended these to any barefoot or minimalist shoe runner. Or to anyone who wants some versatile cool looking shoes.

This shoe is so comfortable I'm buying it in another color. I can't wear the traditional vibram shoes because the toe pockets aren't big enough for my toes to feel comfortable. These shoes are the perfect barefoot compromise for me.

Best yet of the minimalist runners, with zero drop from heel to toe. Allows for toes to work, with flexibility close to (but not quite as freeing as Vibram Five Fingers KSO). I have run marathons and halves in both brands and now prefer these due to some arch support here, better protection against stubbed/hung toes and fewer inquiries about my strange shoes (still love those Vibrams but the world isn't ready!).

I started running barefoot on the beach 5 years ago. I was amazed at how strong it made my ankles and feet. However, running on the roads barefoot is tough. Since then, I have been experimenting with various minimalist shoes and these are the best I have found. The sole is thin, but has a protective layer that protects from rocks and other rough terrain. If you are thinking of trying barefoot running, but you don't like the separated toes of the Vibram Five Fingers, these are the shoes for you! Wide toe box, but designed to tighten down snugly on the midfoot. I am buying a second pair because they are wonderful to walk around in too. Perfect for anyone who prefers being barefoot.

Very happy with the Pace Glove. I've been wearing other brand minimal shoes for walking and jogging for about a year and have always liked Merrill so was happy to hear they now have a barefoot line. These have a very subtle arch support which worried me at first because I was expecting complete flatness but within 5 minutes I didn't even notice it. These have become my favorite barefoot shoes already. Well designed, well constructed, good style though they could use more color combos. Fits beautifully. Functions brilliantly. Seems like all the pros minus the cons of other brand barefoot shoes. You know who they are. The sole is slightly thicker than others but I didn't feel it sacrificed ground feel. If you're buying these as walk-around or running shoes, make sure you understand what barefoot shoes are about before you're shocked by the feel of these.

I wanted so much for these shoes to fit perfect, but alas they do not. I ended up trying 3 different sizes - 7.5, 8, 8.5- when I normally run 7.5. I decided to keep the 8.5 despite developing blisters on the soles of both my feet after a 3 mile run in them. To put this in context I have been running in Vibram Five-Fingers and doing many long (8+ miles) hikes for about a year and a half. I also have a pair of thin-soled Saucony sneakers that I run in too. I am no stranger to minimalist footwear and will even do Crossfit workouts in just socks. I like my feet to be free! I am going to keep the 8.5 and slowly get my feet used to them but I was certainly not able to put these on straight out of the box and do distance running. I had even toyed with trying a Men's size 6 to see if their design was better for my feet. That being said, many people do not seem to have issue with these shoes at all and sing praises about them. Wish I were one of them.
