This is the most comfortable shoe I've ever had! I use it for running, walking and daily wear. Once adjusted to a minimalist shoe, I have found my running experience improved. I love them!

This is my third pair of Merrell Barefoot shoes (I also have the pace glove and lithe glove). So obviously I like them! I just started running in October and found that these shoes do what they are supposed to - modify your stride to be more natural to decrease pain and injury. Although these have a zero drop they do have a thicker sole than the other Merrell barefoot shoes and therefore are more comfortable on the road. They are probably the ugliest of the three pairs I own! But I am willing to give up on looks if it saves my joints! Make sure you ease into them as the new stride will cause muscle soreness.

Love it! This shoe is comfy right out of the box. I normally hate to wear shoes sans socks, but these feel great and they will get a lot of wear this summer..they really do breathe. I tried several pairs of barefoot type shoes and these are by far the best for me. I normally do a size 9 to 9.5 and the 9.5 is perfect. I have flat feet with a narrow heel, and the elastic in the heel of the shoe snugs up nicely. The toe box on the Dash Glove is wider than on the Merrell Pace glove, which I really like...lotsa room for the toes to wiggle. These appear to be very well constructed and seem like they will last.

I have the Barefoot Pace Glove (and love them for walking around) and found running on my treadmill was okay, but didn't feel comfortable for long...missing something. So I bought these and the extra thickness at the heel makes all the difference for longer running! Feels great. My only complaint with these, and I have no idea why they did this, the material is a bit scratchy for wearing barefoot. I don't want to deal with socks, and these are made so you don't, but why then have rough material (the tongue in particular you feel)? The Pace Glove is incredibly smooth with no discomfort from the first time you wear them. These got issues. I also have to wear a size 7.5 (when normally I buy 6.5, sometimes 7 in sneakers). Needed the larger size so my toes definitely don't touch the front, and tying them up snugly seems to work just fine.

These shoes are so cute! I wear a 6.5 and got a 6.5 and they fit perfectly. They are very comfy, they actually do feel like you're not wearing shoes! Running in them is kind of weird. It's a little harder to run because it does feel like you're barefoot. I think it's better that way because it seems like my legs are getting more toned. However, I suggest using your ipod because you can hear the shoes hitting the pavement with every step and I find that kind of annoying!

Love, love, love these shoes! Just ordered another pair-larger size. For me, they ran a little smaller. They're just perfect but not if you want to use socks. Luckily for me, by two best friends are trainers--they said that these types of barefoot soles are the better choices. Love the color as they happen to be SF Giants colors! If your not using to wearing thin/barefeet type of soles, you may need to get used to them but I had no problem whatsoever and wore them all day around the city and loved it!

I love these shoes. They are amazingly comfortable. I have Achilles tendinitis and have only worn slip ons for 4 years. I wanted to try something better for walking and I can wear these with no problem. They are loose and soft at the heel. It took 10 minutes to get used to the arch, and then I wore the shoes all day with no difficulty. They really do fit like a glove, but have plenty of room in the toe area. I have a bunion too and these shoes do not cause any pressure. I tried another barefoot style which was very narrow and returned. I'm ordering another Dash.

This is a great shoe. I used to run on Asics then Nike Free then Nike LunarGlides...and this shoe kicks all their butts. I wasn't sure if I was going to run without socks or not (since my feet tend to get sweaty, gross, I know) and originally ordered my normal shoe (read: ballet slipper/everyday shoe) size but had to order a half size up (and returned the smaller ones) because when I actually started running my feet squished into a bigger size (not sure if I'm being clear but I hope it helps someone out there!). I bought the yellow ones, they're a bit more subdued than in the picture and I swapped out the neon yellow laces for gray quick tie ones which made them a fun color without looking clownish. I'm actually surprised that I run without socks now. It's totally comfortable in these shoes...not to mention you can throw the entire shoe into the wash! --according to the Merrell site at least. While this definitely isn't the cheapest shoe, I think it's the best balance of fun and performance. I'm new to minimalist running and it's taken some time to get used to...but these shoes definitely inspired me to keep at it. I love the feeling of the ground beneath my feet...it reminds me of being a kid and running through a field barefoot. And, a lot of my previous injuries (plantar fasciitis, runner's knee) have almost gone away and I can enjoy running again! Highly recommend this shoe!

These shoes are the most comfortable I have ever owned. I am a very active 50 year old, and I am also a teacher. Therefore, I am on my feet all day. I wear these shoes almost every day; I even wear them for my Zumba class. They wash up great and dry so quickly. Because of the lightness of the shoe and the material they are made of, my feet can get cold if it is cold outside. However, it is spring and it's warming up, so I am looking forward to wearing them this summer. I am going to look for a different pair to wear in the cooler weather. Because of the barefoot design, the muscles in my legs are constantly being worked; I love that feature. The sizing was perfect; I love the wider toe base. The first time I wore them, my leg muscles were a little sore (I wore them all day), but my feet felt great. No rub marks and no blisters. I highly recommend these!

I bought this shoe because it was light and packable as I wanted a shoe I could take on trips for my daily walks. It is super comfortable and doesn't take up much space in my luggage as other walking shoes do. I take a 7 1/2 in shoes and normally go up a 1/2 to a whole size in athletic shoes. I ordered an 8 in these since I was going to wear them with socks and they work out fine, although I have worn them without socks and they are still comfortable and fit fine. They have a little bit of elastic on the top of the back of the heel and when I lace them up they snug my feet nicely without being tight. The arch support is not as good as a normal athletic shoe, but it is better than I thought.

These are totally great shoes for around town, on those days where regular sneakers are just too much. They are lightweight, and just feel perfect on the bare foot. They provide nice support, a snug fit, and are stylish on top of that!

No arch or ankle support and virtually no padding- just like they should be as they are barefoot sneakers. My only gripe is that they are a little bit narrow in the toe box which was surprising considering they are barefoot sneakers- usually barefoot shoes have more room. However I find that merrell shoes in general tend to be a tad on the narrow side in the toe area. If you don't have a narrow foot and you want the ability to spread out your toes look to another brand.

I used to wear Vibram 5-toe shoes and loved it, but I felt like my toes were getting restricted because the toe part of the Vibram shoes are not customized to various lengths and sizes of toes. So I decided to bought this and am loving it. My feet and toes feel free, and I feel very light when running in these. I am switching to Merrell!

Love these more than I expected to - I've taken long power walks in them and just wear them around (no socks!) and they are super comfy and cute. I have narrow feet & thought these looked like clown shoes at first, but now that they're broken in, they fit like a glove...err, sock.

Not quite as soft and barefoot feel as the Pace Glove, let's say, but definitely softer upper than the Lithe. The Pace is my all-time favorite running/walking shoe, but I needed a slightly sturdier trail shoe, and the Dash fits that bill. I wear a size 8 in most shoes, including the Pace, Lithe Glove, as well as this Dash. My heels are very narrow, and I have a medium forefoot/ball. The Dash is really easy to get on because of the larger grip strap in the back; all inside seams are smooth, too. Be aware that these barefoot styles do not have any arch support. I can walk all day and not even think about taking off my Pace Gloves after I get home, and these Dash, although slightly more "shoe," are also extremely comfortable.
