I have mixed feelings about this shoe. Yes, it is waterproof and fairly comfortable but my second wearing I noticed my feet were burning after an hour. I have a lot of allergies and thought the cause might be the fabric. I removed the insole and inserted Ugg liners. Things are a little better and at least the bottoms of my feet don't burn. These new fabrics may be great but it makes me wonder what chemicals are used to make them and what the chemicals are doing to us.

Like wearing sandals! I love these! I am usually barefoot or in Birki's or Tevas all summer, & just put these on - I feel like I'm walking on a cloud! As an extra perk - they are so cute, too!

I am a solid size 10. I ordered these in a 10. They were too big. When I walked around in my house all day in them, my heel lifted. I tried making the shoelaces tighter but it didn't help. After 2 broken ankles in the past, I need support in my ankle region as well and these were just too loose. Oddly, when I wore my sister's Siren Sport in a 10, they felt a bit tight. So, 2 different models, one size, 2 different fits for me. The Castle Rock color is super cool. The red really pops. I hate sending these back but the heel/back part of the shoe was just too big. Mary with Zappos was great. Awesome customer support, as always.

These are my second pair of Merrell's, so I should have known better. I like the stiffness and support, and the width works for me. However, just like my last pair of Merrells, they seem just a half size short in the toe box. My big toe is ever so slightly squashed up front. I should have ordered a 1/2 size up.

I like these shoes but, for the first time in a long time, I've had to "break in" a pair of shoes. I've been wearing them for short periods inside and outside and after a few hours, they pinch somewhere. But it's always somewhere different, so I think they'll soon be a good pair of shoes. I had to put my own orthotics in them.

Love this hiking boot. I do well with Merrells -- lots of room in the toe if I order at the top range of my size (I wear a 7 to an 8, so I always order 8 in Merrell), excellent arch and heel support (I have high arches), the quality is terrific, and the style and color are unique and beautiful. I've owned two other pairs of Merrells and love the quality and how long they last.

I needed water proof shoes to trek and hike in Scotland. After trying Keene and returning them because my heel kept sliding up and down, I bought the trusty Merrells. I have several pair of Merrells and usually they are a good fit. I am a size 9 but ordered a 9.5 in this style. They fit perfectly, are very comfortable and hopefully will live up to the waterproofing. The sole is fairly thick and I expect that will help with pebbles and rocks. THe arch support is good and the stability is also good. I'm keeping them.
