These shoes are awesome! I have problems finding shoes that are comfortable and attractive. These shoes fit both categories. I highly recommend them and will definitely purchase again!

Comfortable shoe. The Bronze is a metallic leather, so although a nice color, I prefer a non-metallic look and ordered the Black Calf to replace it. It seems true to size and is very comfortable. I am dealing with an arthritic toe/foot and this has been the most comfortable so far. Zappos is a gem of a company to allow me to return numerous shoes trying to find one I can wear for walking. I think this is it. I'll know soon after walking around the house for awhile. Well made shoe as one would expect at this price.

Mephisto has been my favorite shoe for years. I thought nothing could surpass the Ladina. But they did. I have the Sano escape in bronze and steel and the shoe is wonderful. They do run small. I take an 8 in the Ladina and a 9 in the Sano. I do wear thick socks with them.

These have to be the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Great support, great comfort. My feet are in heaven, right out of the box. Accommodate my wider foot well. First time I've ever spent this much for a pair of shoes, but I'm not sorry. I'm confident they'll last three times longer than three cheaper shoes that would add up to the same amount. I had heard Mephisto fans will make no other choice - now I'm one of them.

These shoes have a wonderful rocker bottom and I thought they could be my walk forever shoes. I had to send them back because the toe area is too narrow for my feet. A great disappointment!

This is an awesome shoe. It is a half size too small for my feet. I usually wear a 10 and these just did not give me enough room for athletic socks. The shoe is well made and you can tell that it was put together well. Zappos does not carry a 10½, but Amazon.com does.

I have always ordered a US size 8 from Zappos and this is the first time I found a pair of shoes not true to size. I would have to go with an 8.5 on this one.
