I'm a nurse and got these to wear at work where I'm on my feet a lot! These are great! I have plantar fasciitis and my expensive custom orthotics don't work in these shoes. I actually added top of the line orthotics from Walking Co. on top of the shoe liners in these shoes for a great combo. I have a pair of Mephisto Rush that I usually wear at work (with custom orthotics) but needed a back up pair of shoes. I can wear the Rush for days on end without any issues at all. Next to the Rush (much more expensive) the Laser Perfore is the best! I have a narrow foot and these work for me, especially with the orthotics. Don't know how this would work for people with wide feet - may be not wide enough.

This shoe is wide and big. Even with the laces at their tightest, the foot moves around inside the shoe. It breaks at the seam separating the toe and the rest of the foot, and the shoe rubs painfully against the base of the toenail. Although the insole says "Rush", there is no relation to the really supportive and comfortable Rush walking shoe. The outer sole is also very thin in comparison to Rush. I had high hopes for this. I thought Mephisto had finally come to the realization that walking shoes shouldn't have pointed toes.

These shoes fit me very well in my usual size. They don't allow room for thick socks. I was looking for walking shoes that were not large, but fit close to my foot. Many athletic shoes have thick soles and make me feel clumsy when I walk - like wearing big pillows on my feet. These are attractive, comfortable, supportive, and are made well. I recommend them to anyone who wants to walk and forget about their feet. Lovely color, too.

Love this shoe - it is very comfortable, it fits perfect. Some of the other styles of Mephisto shoes are to narrow and small, this one is perfect. Love Zappos - do all my shopping here.

Lovely soft shoe, comfortable right out of the box. Materials not up to Mephisto's quality, and shoe likely to look "worn", particularly in the toe area, very soon.

Very comfortable shoe, could walk all day in them if they were a bit wider. The shoes don't come in a wide, unfortunately. If you need a wide toe box, these may not be the ones for you. Zappos service was great.
