Even better the second time - This is my second pair of Mephisto's Kalmina. I find them to be one of the best overall shoes. I can be on my feet all day if necessary and the shoes provide support and comfort. The fabric across the top provides an excellent fit and the style is neutral enough to go with pants and skirts.

Great shoe - A beautiful shoe that fit my wide width - normally wear an 8 1/2 W, but the size 9 was perfect. Only downside is that the shoe is more for dressy wear (can't wear them in the rain) and wished that the heel was a little higher.

Not Mephisto's best - This is a much flimsier shoe than the usual Mephisto. "Thick latex"? Doesn't feel like it. And the suede is so delicate that your toes leave an impression. Also, if you wear without socks, there are a few places with plastic thread on the interior that can irritate, and my heel blistered right away. These also feel narrower than the usual Mephisto last. I wore them outside impulsively, otherwise I would have returned them. They are pretty shoes, but be aware of what you're getting: dressy flats, not walking shoes.
