Awful. Save your money. The fabric is way too fussy and does not stand up to ordinary wear. Shame on Mephisto. They are supposed to make "walking shoes". My other Mephistos have lasted many years. I bought these just before Thanksgiving 2009. Originally they looked very nice. After being worn just twice they looked like---@#*. During the third wearing I accidentally scraped the toe of the left boot against uneven sidewalk and it tore an awful slice off the toe of the boot!! What a rip off. So disappointed. The suede fabric used here is too soft for footwear. Now they are all misshapen and ugly. I have had many pairs of suede boots and shoes. None of my other suede items look even close to as awful these boot have become in just 2 months. Save your money. These are awful. Yes they feel good, but then they look awful. If you want them for house shoes, ok. But just do not take them outside.

Beautiful shoes, and comfortable right out of the box. Contrary to what another reviewer stated, the leather is not overly fragile on these. Good leather -- in this case suede -- is soft. These aren't hiking boots. I'm considering getting a pair in another color.

I wanted to love these so much more than I do! They are cute, but not this price cute. The style is just lacking and they didn't fit as well as other Mephisto boots I have (even the similar but much cuter Fifi). The leathers combined and the red color are all lovely, but I am returning them as they just don't do it for me. There is something about them that feels sloppy.

These booties were so comfy from the first wearing, I bought them for my mom and 22 year old daughter. Everybody loves them. They are pricey, but I wear them daily. A great product!
