These are my very favorite loafers. Stylish and perfectly comfortable. The right mix of professional and casual. Advice on Mephisto shoes: try on and wear around inside for a few minutes before. Sometimes I have required 11 and sometimes 11.5, depends on the style. Make sure you are happy with the size, because they never wear out.
Brands I'd also recommend: Mephisto shoes are the ultimate. There are no comparisons.

I purchased these shoes for my father. He has knee pain. The Mephistos have helped to relieve some of that pain. He says they are comfortable and I can tell you they look great. Thanks Zappos.

Very comfortable shoe. Consider ordering 1/2 size smaller than you would normally wear as they loosen up a good bit after just a couple days wear.

These shoes are extremely comfortable. I own several pairs of Mephisto shoes and they all feel as comfortable as house slippers...right out of the box. Product quality in all cases is excellent. I highly recommend these shoes.

OMG! Mephisto shoes were always comfortable, but lacked the style I prefer, until I found the Edlef. Glove leather soft and I actually feel the cushiness of the shoe as I walk! Plus, I think this is a great looking shoe. Bottom line - I got 'em in black and brown!

These shoes are a little expensive but they look good and they are really comfortable. They are very light too and the sole is soft so you can feel some bumps on the ground through the sole. They are perfect for traveling because you can slip them on and off in a second for airport security but they also look good enough to wear to a meeting.

This is a great casual shoe. Well, it\'s been quite some time since I bought shoes (when Eccos were still made in Europe). I tried several other manufacturers, but for my moderately wide feet and plantar fascitis, this is a great shoe. It is super comfortable and takes my orthotics perfectly. I can walk and stand in these all day without foot or back pain. The euro style is modern and up-to-date. I actually bought 3 other styles of Mephistos because of the comfort of this one. Mephisto may be an expensive shoe, but I\'m convinced that it is worth every penny for the comfort and style. And, of course, Zappos was great as I kept trying shoes until I found the right ones. Thanks Zappos. Highly recommend shoes and Zappos.

Mephisto shoes are always amazingly comfortable, but often not so stylish. This shoe is both, and the rich leather is very high quality. I am on my feet all day, so comfort and support are very important to me. My only qualm is that this shoe has a thinner, more flexible sole than previous Mephisto shoes I have purchased. But it looks even better in person than the picture.

I just got these shoes for a trip to Europe. Will report back - but so far - I love these shoes. I tried a pair of Ferragamo loafers and these were as comfortable. Felt like slipping my feet into a lovely pair of gloves more than putting on shoes. They are far dressier looking than the picture. Perfect for jeans or slacks. Obviously not for suits.

Most comfortable slip on ever! Sizes are accurate and perfect for casual or dress! I love Mephisto's and this is one of their best!
