Loved the look of these but had to return because the thong section is too thick and very uncomfortable. The bottom of the shoe is super comfortable.

I love these sandals! I have owned two pairs of an earlier version of these sandals and that is what I constantly wore for the past two summers. I need a shoe with some support and I find that the Mephistos are some of the most comfortable shoes that I have owned. They are great vacation shoes when you expect to do a lot of walking and they look good too.

This is kind of an odd fit for me. Although my toes are not long, the thong piece did not reach all the way to bottom of my big toes. Maybe that is how it is supposed to be? But my toes did not reach the end of the shoe, either. It seemed to fit my low instep, however, and it has a great sole and is so pretty!

This shoe is the same build as the Agacia, but with the decorative flower. However, I'm finding that the shoe is running a full size too small. I am a true size 9, but this shoe is just covering my foot and my heel is right up against the very edge. I ordered 9s last year from Mephisto in this thong. Love the bucksoft color, but need to exchange for a larger size which is why I'm giving this four stars.
Brands I'd also recommend: Keen, Merrell, Patagonia
