Super durable backpack. Looks great and well worth the money. My kid loves it and I have bought plenty of bags before that were not being used. This one is a keeper!

Not perfect, but a keeper -
Sturdy bag, comfortable, right size to fit lunch box and a book for the train, just what I wanted. Comfortable, plenty of pockets. The strap is long enough for a 6'3" man. A few notable cons: 1) My main complaint: does not have a handle! A small handle could be attached slightly behind the fold-over cover, without compromising the look. 2) Pockets are plentiful, but all way too small. Not a single reasonably sized pocket to stick a train schedule in. Pockets are both narrow and shallow. 3) Sliding shoulder pad is useless and odd looking. The belt is wide enough to be comfortable. Not that you can fit too much stuff in the bag for it to be heavy, either. 4) Rain proof? Not quite. The cover leaves half-inch gaps on each side, so if it really pours, you are going to have water in your bag. 5) There are massive velcro straps under the buckles, that take considerable force to undo. They render the outside buckles useless. Or the other way around. Velcro or buckles, not both. I cannot think of a single reason to have the buckles. They don't even look so great. To keep a subway thief out, maybe? No way -- the velcros make plenty noise to be heard through whatever you play on your ipod, impossible to open unnoticed. I'll keep it because I need a bag, but I feel I may regret this decision. No handle? C'mon!

This is the best all-purpose bag! I've been wanting this bag for a while now and finally decided to get it for my birthday. I wish I hadn't waited so long. The safety clips for both zippered pockets not only deters pick-pockets, but it also keeps my kids out of my bag! I carry mace and a folding knife with me and am always afraid to have my bag laying anywhere near where the little ones (ages 3 & 2)can get into my belongings. The inside can hold quite a bit if you want it to. I don't usually carry anything large so the bag lays flat and is not bulky at all when there is so much room left inside. If needed, I can stuff baby wipes, diapers, and snacks and the bag still looks good.

I bought this bag for my husband. He was tired of carrying around two bags - one for his laptop and one for his files and organizer. Most of the bags he had found just werent big enough for his 17" laptop, or they didnt allow enough room for anything else. This bag has room for everything. It fits his laptop easily and has tons of room for the computer accessories like the power cord, mouse, etc and more room for other stuff. All of the many pockets work well together. The laptop has its own pocket in the back that doesnt interfere with the main compartment. Not only is it functional, but the subtle brown plain is pretty sophisticated, too. Its easy to carry because its a backpack and it is stylish enough to look professional.

This laptop sleeve is very nice, well made. I feel its well padded, providing good protection, with a sturdy strap. The only thing I dont like is that its too tall for my laptop. Fits my 15.6 " well from side to side, but is about 2 too tall (high). Probably wouldnt matter to anyone else, but you may want to take note of dimensions. Also, there isnt really room for anything inside the sleeve other than the laptop.

Great padding for shoulder strap. Did not like velcro closure - if you put a small computer in neoprene sleeve within found that I had no room for anything else. Somewhere between purse and briefcase is how it best functions

I wasn't really sure if I would like this bag, but I really liked the print plus I wanted a bigger bag and wanted a printed bag. I figured it was free to send it back if I didn't like it so why not. I love it and it is SO cute!! The space is perfect, big, but not overly huge. I don't put nearly as much in it as would fit, but love having the option of the extra space if I need it. And the print (I got Sage Floral) is even cuter in person and with the canvas; it is perfect to transition to spring. This bag feels well made and I can fit it on my shoulder which is a must for me. My only disappointment is I didn't seem to receive the coin pouch that comes with it, but I didn't want to send it back and wait for another just for that even though delivery was super fast.

This is a very roomy bag and large, too. Even with a pretty big laptop, it looked too empty unless I put a lot of things in there. I have a small frame so it just was too big for me to use every day. If I could, Id have kept it as an airplane carry-on bag because it really can store a lot. But for an everyday work briefcase, it was too big and too unstructured for me.

The Oswego is my second Keen bag and it's big enough for students, mommies, and anyone who needs a roomy bag. Tons of pockets & storage slots. Love the adjustable, wide strap. The only disappointment is the canvas material on the strap and front of the bag don't look as good as the polyester-ripstop backside of the bag.

LOVE THIS LUGGAGE. I was a little concerned the bag might be too close to the maximum size accepted as a checked bag without charge, but it was perfect! My young adult daughter traveled home after x-mas with both compartments filled to the max and the dimensions and weight were both within the limits without extra charge from the airlines. For a lighter trip, you could split the bag and use just one part. I am so jealous this is my kids bag!

This is my third PacSafe bag; my other two are purses, and I love them. This bag has two problems. First, it is very hard to zip and unzip the larger compartment without balancing the pack on a flat surface, but I could have gotten the hang of that. Unfortunately, in a heavy rain, the bag leaked badly all around the main compartment zipper soaking a book and the interior of the pack. So, sadly it's going back. This one just isn't up to Pacsafe's usual design strengths, but if you planned to use it only in dry weather, you might find it good enough.

I was extremely pleased with the Jansport shoulder bag, this was a gift to my daughter for Christmas. She was determine to find this bag and we search the internet for retail stores, on-line retail and major sport stores in our area and could not locate this exact bag until she located Zappos.com. It was quick and easy to order and price was competitive. Received the bag within 2 business days after ordering. She loves it!

I ride the train and then walk about a mile to work. The bag I was using was not waterproof but was made of nylon and lightweight. When I look for a bag, I want it to be light because I know how much stuff I'm going to be putting into it. The strap is good and I wear it across my body. It is waterproof and very sturdy. The velcro is very loud but secure and in addition to the velcro, there are clips to hold the flap down. This bag is working well for me. The only thing I miss, is an outside pocket for my cell phone.

I vacillated between the large and the medium size and for day to day use I am glad I got the medium. The large would have been helpful if I carried larger loads. I like the new pocket layout. I wish they offered an interior pocket for magazines.

So close, but yet so far. Roomy, light, great on the big pockets, but what about the smaller internal pockets for the water bottle, ipod, undergarments, etc.? Know what I mean? I go to the gym before work and natural beauty being what it is, lug my gear and shower etc at the gym. All my stuff kind of mushes around - still on the search for the great gym bag, much like I searched for the great suitcase when I traveled extensively for business. Zappos, BTW, XOXOXOX.

This is a very sturdy and well built bag. Only had it 2 weeks now but you can tell it will last through any abuse. If your using it to carry more than one book (textbook) get the medium. The small is tiny and the large is more like a duffle bag. Its a little expensive but worth it.

Bought this for my 7th grader. He loves it! Lots of room for books and a smaller zippered pocket in the front for his smaller things like keys (and actual clip for them), pencils, MP3 player, phone, etc. Side pocket for his water bottle. And this bag looks good. Sturdy & well made.

 | | You people are the greatest! I do not for the life of me know how you do this stuff. Is it true that you have many, many little happy elves out there in your location outside Las Vegas? I hear they work 24/7 and love every minute of it; but that some have to take time off at Xmas to head for the Pole! Oh well I'm sure you get subs. Thank all of them for me!
