Gave as a gift (as requested by my sister). Really pretty. At first it did not stay open, but with a little very gentle pressure, it is fine. A nice gift.

This is a lovely jewelry box with 24 small compartments, suitable for earrings or small items, and a pocket for necklaces or larger items. As a "travel" case, it doesn't really work, because the walls of the compartments don't meet the top of the box. This allows the jewelry to escape from the compartment you put it in. Not good. Don't buy it for travel. It's a pretty box, with a nice shape and cover, and seems fairly sturdy. The closure is secure and elegant.

I have been looking for a very long time for the perfect jewelry box for all my rings and earrings. I found it! I bought 3 for myself and 1 for my sister. It is so smart looking and modern. I can see everything at once. I love the colors. Its an excellent value. Diana

The item is listed as a travel jewelry case for earrings, but as one reviewer noted and I should have listed to and the lid does not meet the top of the compartments, so your earrings fall out of the slots if the box is tipped. It is also too tall, to be honest. Earrings aren't an inch or more high, so the box is unwieldy to pack in a suitcase. It takes up more room than it should. Other than that, it is well made, cute, and would work great sitting on a dresser. However, as I already have solutions for that, I am returning this.

Quality product. I actually purchased this as a Christmas gift for a friend. Earlier this year I ordered one for myself and was really happy with it. We travel a lot in our RV and I purchased it to take my earrings with me. Works perfect to contain them and is also very pretty. I have a blue one but this pink is also nice.
