    MBT Tembea Reviews

Best shoes I ever bought - I was apprehensive about spending this much for a pair of shoes. I almost didn't do it. I have a part-time job walking dogs. I cover about 7 miles each day that I work and my feet have been hurting quite a bit lately. I spent a lot of time barefoot when I was a kid, and my feet never hurt. So, the technology made sense to me. Well I bought the MBT Tembea and I love them. They are the first pair of shoes that I have ever bought that I do not take off as soon as I am done working. At previous jobs, I was known for taking off my shoes in the parking lot before I would even drive home. But, no more. I actually wear these shoes in the house and will put them on just to walk to the mailbox. MBT, you have a customer for life.

Brands I'd also recommend: I haven't tried any others yet, but I will.

I bought these for my husband. He has had severe arthritis in his hips and back since he was a teenager. I didn’t tell him how much these cost until he tried them on and used them for an hour or two. He absolutely loves them. For a man to rave about a pair of shoes is truly a unique thing, but he’s worn them everyday for a week and practically bounces home from his 12 hour workdays. Every day he says something great about these shoes. I ordered him the size he usually wears and they fit well. I’m a nurse, so I’ll be ordering a pair for myself soon. Well worth the money. This particular style is not as odd looking as some of the others. Look good with jeans or chinos.

Brands I'd also recommend: I love my Danskos for nursing duty.

These fit true to size. I ordered these for my husband who has not walked much in years due to a chronic back condition. He feels like he has a new lease on life and is like the energizer bunny. Also these look like normal shoes, not as clunky as the other styles.

Wonderful shoes - I had recently had major surgery on both feet to repair a congenital deformity. The recovery was long and painful. I bought these shoes because I vowed that, with my lifelong foot problems, I would never buy cheap shoes. So... these are spendy, but they feel amazing. It takes a day or so to get used to them, but once you get the hang of them, you feel like you're walking on air. You feet never tire. The only caution is that they need to fit snugly. I returned my first pair because they were 1/2 size too big and I felt like I was swimming in them.

This is my husband’s second pair of MBT's and his favorite so far. He works as an RN in a busy emergency room and has plantar fasciitis in both feet. He started out a skeptic when I bought him the first MBT's but it didn't take long and he got a second style so he could wear them every day. He actually really likes the looks of this style and gets many compliments.

Great Shoes - I just started wearing the MBT shoes at work and found them to be very comfortable, and so I bought a pair to wear when I'm not working. The Tembea are a good looking shoe, the leather is very thick. I bet these shoes last a long time.

The shoe's quality is not to be questioned. I just don't think it is the shoe it claims to be. I have a pair of boots that are far more comfortable and don't make my feet hurt like these do. They do, however, give you exercise since you are constantly balancing yourself. I would start with the less expensive pair and see if you like those...

I walk several miles a day and purchased these shoes on the hype they gave something special and were woth the their high price. The shoes are well made and comfortable yet don\'t really give any better experience than other walking shoes which are less expensive. In short not sure these shoes are really worth the extra money.

I waited long for this style in my size. It was worth it. As expected, they feel and fit exactly like the Safiri, (same sole pattern) with the color, materials and look I had wanted. Like all my MBT\'s, these have the therapeutic value I need.

These shoes are quite remarkable. They are not too difficult to get accustomed to. The most unusual thing is standing still, where you tend to rock forward. The bottom line is that they do build up your legs very quickly. I would most definitely recommend them.

Zappos. Great service. Great price. MBT Tembea. This style of shoe absolutely helps my lower back and accompanying leg pain, a nerve issue. They take a few weeks to get used to. This particular model is very rugged. I am not too happy with the way the shoe meets my ankle, too harsh, and the toe box is a bit too large for me. I might need a 9.25 since the 9 is too short and the 9.5 just a bit too big. This model runs true to size or just a tad big. I only wear MBTs. Just doing an hour walk in them is therapeutic.

I work on concrete for most of the day, and suffered from very bad foot pain. I had tried many other shoes and insoles, and the MBTs have cured the foot pain. Not that my feet don't ever get sore, but I do not wake up in the morning with pain anymore and my feet feel so much better. They did take some break in time for my legs and feet to get adjusted to them. It took me about three weeks to really start to feel a difference. I now wear them every day and love them. Worth the money to get rid of my foot pain.

Great shoe!! I had my right ankle fused as a result of a foot crush from an auto accident. 21 years and multiple surgerys later I have a degenerative arthritic foot and ankle. To say the least I have a few problems with walking. Well, with this shoe (2nd pair of MBT) I can walk all day and be pain free. As the instructions that come with the shoe it took a few days or a week to break in and get used to but after that I am SOLD on MBT. I will be getting my 3rd pair soon!

Instant posture and gait improvement for a friend with Parkinson's disease. Practical styling with a contemporary edge. You will walk farther, faster and not want to wear other brands other than MBT! If you have a friend, parent, spouse who winces at spending money but needs a physical boost give them MBT's and they will perk up!

I bought this shoe, because after trying it out, it was worth the price tag. I generally try to avoid buying Chinese made products, but since my work requires a great deal of indoor walking, I needed this shoe. It performs great, it does what it was designed to do, BUT the fit & finish is pretty bad. I have & have owned many pairs of shoes, and this is the first one that has costed SO much & lasted so little. I've owned them since 05/09 & now 8 months later they literally look like I've had them for years..... My point is that, they DON'T hold up well. I am satisfied with the feel, but the quality of the materials used, just isn't there.... My other work shoe pair is a dressy loafer which I've had for nearly 5 years (the MBT was supposed to replace it), made in Brazil...& after 5 years they look better than my MBT. Ultimately, I like how the shoe feels, but I'm not sure that I want to drop that much money once a year and throw these out...

I have had my first pair of MBTs for about five weeks. They are the only shoes that I wear now. I love the feel of walking in these shoes. It did not take any time to break in the shoes or my muscles when I first wore these shoes. \r\n\r\nI\'ve had nagging foot pain for about 5 years and have bought probably two dozen pairs of shoes over that time trying to find a pair that let me walk without pain. I walk about 5 miles a day and love these MBTs. So far, I\'m very happy with the quality as well as the comfort after over 100 miles. I don\'t need inserts which I have used with most other shoes.

Brands I'd also recommend: Nothing compares
