I agree with first reviewer. In fact my foot is almost wide and these are sloshy-wide. My foot drifted to the outside of the foot and sort of hung over the side, which did not look good at all. One size down was too short. The strap does not adjust unless you could benefit from a teeny 1/8 of an inch, which is like a short fingernail of adjustment. This color is really pretty, just as it looks on my screen. So that is 'say something nice' part. I really liked the look of them. However the rocker sole was not really like the classic MBT sandals (that so many loyal customers hope for), but the arch area had that same nice fit and feeling when you walk. That is to say, it seems to feel okay whether you have a higher arch or a flat foot. But they just are the best that MBT has in the 'good for your back, knees or foot' type. The thinner sole did not have that same help for the back or hips, which is chronic for me. I can feel whether they are working like my other, older MBT's within a few steps or minutes. But the wide width may accommodate many who wanted wide width, so that may be enough for anyone with less serious pain issues who just likes comfort. MBT is getting closer to reaching style and the design many of us need - to walk beyond short distances!
Brands I'd also recommend: Nothing close to MBT but Memphisto and Birkenstock work for shorter walks!

It was more than two years ago that I purchased my first MBT shoes. I always wear my MBT shoes when traveling or when I go for long walks, they make me feel as if I'm exercising.

At last! This is an MBT that I can wear with my formal attire. For all of you who have been bemoaning the "utilitarian" design of most MBTs this is what you have been waiting for. It takes a little getting used to not have heel straps but these are wonderful shoes. I only own MBTs because of back, hip and knee problems. While my black maryjanes are great, these look absolutely wonderful under my black opera dress.

I'm delighted to have an MBT slide-on that supports my feet and knee almost as well as my MBT tennis shoes.

About MBT
The many benefits of MBT shoes are not only substantiated by numerous scientific studies; they are also being enjoyed on a daily basis by more and more health- and fitness-conscious people who improve their physical fitness by merely wearing this physiological footwear. MBT shoes can activate neglected muscles and tone and shape the entire body.
Doctors and physiotherapists recommend MBTs as an effective therapeutic tool, and top athletes like Benni Raich and Michael von Granigen use their MBT sneakers as mini training and regeneration centers. Shoes designed by MBT can have a positive impact in improving posture and gait, reducing stress on the knees and hips, and even help with joint, ligament and tendon injuries.

One of the most comfortable MBTs I've tried. The toe box is wider than usual, so is easier on my toes. I like these a lot!

Very comfortable as always. True to size. However, not practical for everyday use. It is light colored suede and dirtied immediately. If possible recommend buy darker color.

These seem narrow in comparison to my previous MBTs. The Lower strap hits the width of my foot just wrong. So if you have a wide foot and these are not the MBTs for you.

It took me a bit of time to get used to the wide, loose front strap and it felt a little sloppy at first. However, now I love them, and the wide strap allows my foot to swell without discomfort. I just make sure my foot is securely held by the strap across the arch of my foot. They are incredibly comfortable and more stylish than most MBTs.

This is the second pair of MBTs I've ordered. Both feel great (on the sole of my feet) and are good for standing on hard surfaces. Unfortunately, these gave me two very painful blisters near my inside ankle/arch so I can't walk long distances in them. Also, I have moderately wide feet, but these are too wide. My feet are swimming in them, which means I'm applying a lot of toe pressure to keep them on. The Velcro adjustment straps aren't long enough to really fit the shoe across the arch. While I like the concept of the MBTs, I will not order more because if the blisters I've gotten with my two pairs. As always, Zappos was great and I got my order in record time.

I bought this pair in the same size as my other 4 pairs of MBTS. Yes, I love this brand, but these felt a bit larger, perhaps because they're the first MBT sandals I've purchased. It took a bit to get used to walking in them; at first, it felt like I might step out of them. But now I'm loving them. They're cute enough to wear to work. (I was worried they might look goofy, but they don't at all.) I have a standing work station and am comfortable all day long. I suffer from severe arthritis in my large toe joint. MBTs are the only brand of shoe that do not cause me pain and make me limp. They also relieve my arthritic knee pain. Can't say enough about how these shoes have improved my quality of life!

Well, these looked like they would be great but due to my bunions they did not fit well. Oh well, those of us with wide feet and/or bunions are limited in our selection I will put in a plug for Fitflops slide-on sandals -- great for those of us with wide feet that also need arch support!

These shoes just feel sloppy and unlike the others MBT sandals I've owned for 2 plus years. These cannot be adjusted with the Velcro strap to be really tight and they feel wide and like they're going to fall off.

If you like Dansko shoes, then you may like these. The width is like other Dankso shoes, i.e., B-C. The length is the same as my other street shoes, 38 EUR. My fallen arches make most B width street shoes uncomfortable/unattractive on me, but these look and feel good. I like the two strap design without the additional strap around the Achilles tendon because it is more comfortable to me.
