Best shoe I've ever had! This shoe eliminated my foot pain! I have Frieberg's disease, and bought these as my last resort before surgery. Thanks goodness I tried them. What a miracle. I now bought the MaryJane style Tunisha too.

I thought I was a huge MBT fan. I have a pair of sandals that I never took off all summer. They just seemed to soothe my back. These tennis shoes have been a disaster for me. To get the proper length I had to get a little bit larger. When I got larger, the heel is entirely too wide and slips. I made the mistake of keeping them, thinking I could use heel grips. I'm now stuck with a very expensive pair of shoes that I can't wear.

Looking for some help. I have had a pair of MBT's for over two years and I can't wear them comfortably for very long. I always blister on the inside of one heal with the motion of the foot. I've tried pads on the tongue inside the heal, different lacing. Anyone have a similar problem and find a solution?

Great shoes! I am an individual who typically wears heels everyday to work and when I would switch to a sport shoe (like Nike). During the weekend my back would hurt and I was not even wearing the shoes all day. I decided to try these for the multiple benefits they provide (better posture, strengthen core...). My recommendation would be to only wear these a few hours a day initially (I believe the DVD also instructs to do that as well) then increase the time you wear these. I can now wear these all day on the weekends without issue and now no more backaches. I don't think I will ever switch back to a normal sport shoe again. One additional note on size...I am in between an 8.5 & 9. I went with the 8.5 and had no issues.

I have two pair of MBT shoes and absolutely love them. My wife wanted a second pair and since the factory didn't have the style she wanted... we tried Zappos. The first pair didn't fit. The second pair didn't fit either. We went with a different style and they fit perfect. The customer service was outstanding. The agent walked me through the return process and even sent me the (free) return label while I was on the phone. She guaranteed me the shoes the next day - and this was December 23, 09. Unbelievable.

Additional Brand Information

MBT shoes are physiological footwear - the first footwear that has a positive effect on the entire body. MBT stands for "Masai Barefoot Technology." MBT sneakers and casual shoes are designed using a multi-layered, curved sole which makes for a unique and rewarding walking experience. Few shoes can keep your muscles engaged in a purposeful way, but this is what MBT has done.

The many benefits of MBT shoes are not only substantiated by numerous scientific studies; they are also being enjoyed on a daily basis by more and more health- and fitness-conscious people who improve their physical fitness by merely wearing this physiological footwear. MBT shoes can activate neglected muscles and tone and shape the entire body.

Doctors and physiotherapists recommend MBTs as an effective therapeutic tool, and top athletes like Benni Raich and Michael von Grünigen use their MBT sneakers as mini training and regeneration centers. Shoes designed by MBT can have a positive impact in improving posture and gait, reducing stress on the knees and hips, and even help with joint, ligament and tendon injuries.

After much research on the MBTs, this shoe really stands up to its hype! I have a severe back condition that with all other running shoes always made my back ache. After Christmas shopping all day in these shoes, I had absolutely no back pain! They also help exercise your calf, butt, and thigh muscles while wearing them. Exercising while completing everyday tasks isn’t such a bad thing either! I like the athletic look of the shoe. I’ve had them now for 2 months, worn almost every day and they still look like new. Only negative - you cannot wear them in the snow or rain.

These are the most incredible shoes ever made. I have three pairs of these shoes. The first day it took me all day to walk in them, like learning how to walk again. The first week my butt was on fire. I could actually feel the burn. Now a year later, I wear mine every single day. I have also bought the sandals as well for the summer time. I have the black ones as well for when white will just not work. I would recommend these to everyone. I have used the imitation ones and they do not even compare. Size runs a little big. I wear 6.5 and had to order a 6. But on the sandals they run a little on the small side and had to order 7. Hope you order them and enjoy them.

I read many of the reviews of the MBT shoes and chose this type. It is living up to expectations. I have outstanding support for my feet and easily adapted to the rocking motion. I use the shoes predominantly for my exercise routine. I walk two miles per day and these shoes have certainly upped the amount of exercise I get. I can really feel my leg and glutes working hard! I followed the general advice and ordered a half-size larger. They fit perfectly.

These are the best shoes ever invented. I have been wearing them nonstop since I got them. I would have to tell you tho', they don't run small. Some styles of MBTs run small, others run big. I would say these are true to size so don't order up. They are very expensive, but worth every penny. They are good for foot and heel pain. They improve your posture and work your muscles unlike any other shoe can. I would recommend these to everyone!

I have the most defective feet and have always had trouble finding shoes that I can wear all day. At 64, I have given up on looks and style and strictly go for comfort! For several years, I have worn the MBT sandal for longs periods on concrete floors, malls, airports, even in winter. The rocking sole prevents direct pressure on any part of my foot. Too, I can spread my toes. I wanted an enclosed shoe for winter and tried different styles of MBT. Although the company states that all styles are made on the same last, the MBT Sport 2 has more room in the toe box, and I can still flex my toes. None of the styles had much arch support, but with the rocking motion, that isn't much of an issue. I may try an insert. I can walk all day in this shoe, which is great. And driving in the shoe is no problem. But like the sandal, I have problems on a carpeted surface. U-turns aren't that easy! Due to other reviews, I ordered half size up and even with heavy Thorlo socks this shoe fits well.

These shoes are really comfortable! They're cushy, and at the end of the day my foot and ankle is tired, but not sore. I've also noticed that the first steps in the morning aren't painful (like they used to be). I did have to buy a half-size bigger than I normally wear. They run small. They're also look a bit clumsy (actually, they're flat-out ugly, and look like old lady shoes), but they feel good enough that I wear them anyway. Since my feet are happiest when I wear these shoes about half a day. I have another (normal) pair of shoes so I try to wear these around the house.

I bought these shoes for my fiance and she loves them! They were a little awkward feeling at first because your heel does not touch the ground. They really do make her legs and back feel good. She recommends them highly.

Okay, so these are not the most glamorous pair of shoes that I own. That's what L.A.M.B shoes are for. I bought these shoes a couple of years ago. My best friend swore by them. I was skeptical, but I had nothing to lose. I have a lot of lower back pain and I'm severely flat footed. They take a bit of getting used to. I would recommend practicing walking in them before you take your dog on a long walk. They are terrific for a day at the mall or sightseeing while on vacation.

I balked a little at paying the price but as I did my homework by going to a trunk show for the MBT brand and tried on many different styles, I was able to avoid sending shoes back for size issues. These shoes do fit very differently style to style and sizing up is necessary. Aside from that these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever owned. A joy to walk in. I didn't want to take them off! I recommend the styles with the highest amount of "oomph" rather than the lower, more stylish versions. You get addicted to the rock! There ought to be a law! Or at the very least a good sale.

These shoes are the most comfortable I've ever owned. However, they run short, so order a half size larger. I endured a lot of ribbing from my kids, who call them my "orthopedic shoes." They look great with workout clothes or jeans. I did not feel any tightening in my tummy or stomach problem areas. My back did feel better than usual after a four mile walk on an asphalt path. Are they worth the money? The price was steep, and I don't think I'll be wearing them 3 years from now when the fad passes.

For years I have been working as a patient care assistant and when I get home from work I couldn't do anything else but sit in the same spot my feet and legs ache so much. Well, I received these shoes as a gift and it was truly a blessing. Honestly, no pain at all. I mean I feel the weight of the shoe at the end of the day, but I guess I adapted. I've only been wearing them for a week and when you find out the price your kind of skeptical even in a recession, but then you see how much money you've wasted buying at least 5 pair of shoes a year trying to get comfort and this one shoe does it all.

Zappos rocks! Ordered the shoe I was not able to get easily in my area and Zappos got it to me in one day! The MBT Sport 2 has allowed me to work my shift on my feet without any pain. I did get a size 9 and wish I had gotten a 8 1/2. I wear smartwool hiking socks and those work well. Going to order the MBT Sport 2 in white as I will be traveling to Florida soon and the black I own do not go with shorts I plan on wearing.

Great comfort and support. I have painful feet and can easily walk 3 miles or more without pain. They feel heavy at first, but not an issue when walking. Watch the video (included with first pair) for correct use. My only issue is the shoe is very slightly loose around the heel. I tried 4 pairs before I found the best fit, and they run 1/2 size small. I got a blister at the back of the heel and had to use a pad to improve the fit. This worked and I now live in these shoes.
