I love the MBT Pata! I think it is incredibly comfortable and no break-in time is required. Also, because it is suede, the shoes are very warm. The brown has a very chameleon look to it. At times, it appears very brown; however, at other times, it has grey or taupe tones. Best of all, with MBTs I can walk for miles. I not only have terrible feet with bunions, bag ligaments and more, I have a tricky knee from a torn meniscus surgery that occasionally bothers me. I can honestly say that when I am wearing these MBT shoes, my feet and knees feel great! Also, although they are suede, the shoes are very light. Finally, they have a lower profile so they do not have the over-obvious MBT build. I prefer that they look more normal.

These are excellent shoes. I always wear MBT and this style looks good with long slim pants. MBT may not like this, but I add an orthotic for pronation, so I wear half a size larger. MBTs, except for sandals, are always a tad wide for me but perfect in the most crucial ways.

This shoe did not work out. It is unstable after all, unlike my Kisumu Is and my original Sportshoe. I have now returned 3 pair of MBTs. Online I learned that the original MBT maker has left the company and that design and quality have been lowered. This would explain the overuse of glue in the latest styles, their instability, and the inconsistency in sizing length and width. Sadly it's time to switch, guys. What a loss!
Brands I'd also recommend: Mephisto, Clergerie lows
