I love my MBT Lami. I also have the MBT Walk. They're both very comfy. I have plantar problem, heel spur, metatarsalgia and swollen ankles and these shoes makes it possible for me to walk with less pain. I wore my Lami to my Podiatrist today. He was writing my review down. He likes the idea and I bet he's gonna relay it to his patients. I'm happy to spread the good news to those who have feet problems that there is hope: wear MBT, less pain, more comfort! I'm ordering another one in black. So expensive but it's worth it. Hey MBT, make something a little more feminine for crying out loud! These are cute, but we need to see something more girlie!

Zappos is the best company I have ever dealt with. I will not buy shoes from any other company. I highly recommend these shoes; it is my second pair of MBTs. The only thing I am disappointed by is the sizing; they are not consistent. This is not Zappos fault. I will continue to purchase MBTs only from Zappos.

These shoes are great! I had tried other styles of MBTs, but the fit was not quite right; either my heels would slip or the toe area would be too tight. As soon as I tried this pair on, I could feel that the fit was perfect. (I ordered a half-size bigger than my usual size.) I've been wearing them to work for a couple of weeks now, where I do a lot of walking and standing, and my knees, feet, and back are not bothering me as much as they did before wearing these MBTs. I got the black ones so they wouldn't be too noticeable because they are kind of clunky. I don't mind that, especially since they feel so good.

I love this shoe! Only issue is going down the stairs can be tricky and you have to hold on to something. I dance and work out often and maybe this has to do with my never having any issues adjusting to the rocker bottom. Just gave birth 3 months ago and went dancing in them this week even (hip hop style at that, where I use a lot of quick side to side and knee bend movements; never felt uneasy). I use an orthotic insole, waist cinchers, and leg compression stocking with them when I went dancing or when I walk due to recent pregnancy. I was able to stand for hours without any pain for the first time in many years! I usually have chondromalacia, iliotibial syndrome to name a few things and was able to dance without issue! Great shoe if you ask me, and if you have my background of ailments and activity, you'll probably do just fine in them! I even like the style (guys don't seem to mind; flirted with a few times wearing them in plain, conservative clothes while other women in sexy ones)! More comfortable then my Dansko shoes or clogs.

\r\nThese shoes are a conversation piece, because strangers will ask you if you like them on a daily basis. For shoes that support your feet and correct your posture they are incredibly comfortable, cushiony, non pinching, fairly light. They make walking a challenge, in a way that feels occasionally like being on stilts because they force you to balance on them. And they make your legs work a little harder, which for most of us is a good thing. Challenging, comfortable, cute. Kind of like a boy you like and wonder about at the same time, but can\'t get out of your head.

I was introduced to these shoes by a co-worker (we are ER nurses). I decided to read some of the reviews before I purchased them, and it was the good review that another ER nurse wrote that convinced me. I purchased the Lamis and wore them to work immediately. I took an extra pair of shoes with me in case I had to change mid-shift, but it was not necessary. I got used to them immediately and had no problems adjusting to them. I work 12 hour shifts and these shoes make my shift just whizz by. Thanks, MBT for a wonderful shoe, they are worth every penny!!

The shoes did help to decrease the intensity of the pain on my right heel. MBT shoes were suggested by podiatrist. Improve my walking with less pain. And I got so many good compliments just from the appearance of the shoes. I bought these shoes for my right heel pain, not for its aesthetic sense or fashion. Medically I may say it is beneficial in a lot of senses. So satisfied. And Zappos.com customer service is doing a good job. Thank you.

I ordered full size larger. It was necessary for semi comfy fit. The area around the little toe and toe next to it needed more depth. After wearing for 4 hours the first day, 3 hours 2nd day, 2 hours 3rd day, I found the muscles in my knees had regained their strength enough to stop my knees from giving out unexpectedly after 4 to 6 hours on my feet prior to buying MBTs. The muscle "restructuring" that took place the first week was "very interesting" as many occurrences took place during the process of learning to stand, balance and walk in the MBTs. The shifting of muscles brought an immediate awareness to the many "parts" needing release and strengthening to remove pain of pf, and my knees giving out without warning. I have now worn MBTs for 3 weeks and find the rubbing on the toe areas is worth the lack of pain and fear of falling. I also "ran" about 10 steps in these shoes, just because the fear was gone, something I haven't been able to do for several years because of old cellular muscle memory. I've recommended them to many; anyone who asks and wants to help themselves with returning to a "balanced foundation" on which to walk, run or help remove pain in areas not helped with other shoes. I recommend them, in spite of the price, which I found hard to justify, being on a very limited income. I finally gave in to "getting relief" over the dollars and am very glad I did. I intend to purchase another pair, soon.

MBT\'s are truly excellent. I was, as most, initially apprehensive due to the price. However, I took my first "chance" on them with the Black Lami. I ordered a half size up which fit perfectly. I have to say, I have a very impressive shoe collection, and I fear they are going to feel very abandoned now that the MBT\'s are around. These shoes make walking a completely different experience, I can hardly stand to wear any of my other lovely shoes. So, long story short (and two pairs of MBT\'s later; the Chapa in ebony and another Lami in the white shade for work since I\'m a nurse), these shoes are certainly going to be my staple from here on out. Try them out, Zappos is so easy to work with, that if you\'re not satisfied, returns are simple!

I have to say I really do like the MBT shoe - I'm on my feet all day and I can do it somewhat comfortably in these shoes (better than any others so far). One small issue, they do run small, so for me having a narrow foot and ordering a half size up makes the shoe a little "floppy" on my foot. Long enough but now a little too wide. I would still order these again.

Comfortable. Stood in them all day at a trade show, and my feet didn't hurt! That's pretty amazing. I don think they look very nice, honestly, but they served their purpose. They are now my trade show shoes, and I try to wear pants that partly cover them.

These are such great shoes. They are the perfect shade of black. I specifically bought them because of the Mary Jane styling and the Velcro closure. It is easy to get on and off, and easy to adjust across the instep! If you wear medium weight or heavier socks, you will want half a size up. They are designed to fit your foot, and many people think this is too snug.

I am a believer. I have purchased so many pairs of shoes and hardly any worked. My feet (specifically my heels) constantly ache and I have to be on my feet for work. I have enjoyed them so much that whenever someone asks I have to tell them about them and I also suggest going to Zappos to get them. I got them in 2 days and I wear them even when they don't match. I am preparing to purchase another pair for the winter.

Prior to my purchase I read reviews that said to order a size larger. They were absolutely right! I usually wear a size 7, my MBTs are an 8. That said, I love them. They are so comfortable and feel great! I can stand on them all day and my legs never feel tired. The purple color is adorable. Would definitely purchase again!

After buying a pair of Skechers Shape Ups, I was curious about MBTs since the two are similar types of shoes. I've used them for a few weeks and they are really comfy shoes! If you have to walk or stand much of the day, they are worth giving a try. They feel (for lack of a better word) springy and supportive, compared with other comfort shoes I've used that have a harder sole and less support. I generally like shoes with some rise or with a chunky sole or heel, but can't wear big heels so much these days after hurting my back about a year ago. These shoes are cute and I can stand in them for hours. The only drawbacks (and they are minor) are that certain types of socks (ankle-cuff or shorter) tend to get pulled down into the shoe while walking, so it's best to wear these with at least calf-length socks or none at all. Also, the light color on the top of the shoe is very easily soiled. These shoes ran a little small for me in length. I am an 8.5 so I ordered both that size and the 9 and I ended up keeping the 9. I'd recommend ordering your size and a pair one half size larger and returning the one that doesn't fit, because Zappos rocks and is great about returns!

Love these shoes! I do not need orthotics with them, which I have needed since being a kid. I'm now 74. I'd give all 5s, but, boy! There is no way to clean that light part. Because of that I won't be ordering them again, but you can bet I'll be ordering other models of this wonderful shoe!

MBT-Wow! I ordered the red MBT Lami and they are on my feet less than 48 hours later. Very interesting walking shoes! Snug fit. Beautiful color and quality materials.

I was very excited to receive these shoes after all the amazingly positive reviews. First of all, the advice to order a full size larger than your usual is right on the mark. I ordered 1/2 size larger and my toes were immediately unhappy, smashed up against the end of the toe box. This was with thin socks, too. Second, other reviewers were totally right that the insides were like cushy pillows. Your feet just go "ahhh" and sink in. Unfortunately, and it may just be me, I was unhappy with how unbalanced I felt with my toes and heels up in the air. I seem to need my whole foot in contact with the floor. I also have a high arch in need of support, and though the pillowy cushion was very soft, the firm support was not there. Walking was pretty okay, but standing still felt wobbly. I felt that these shoes, at a full size larger than normal, would accommodate thick socks, which many other comfort shoes cannot. The mary jane strap is very adjustable and long enough to accommodate fat socks and swollen ankles. I am disappointed to have to return these shoes. Lots of positives about these, but the one wobbly negative was enough to make me send them back.

I purchased the MBT Lami due to knee and lower back pain from running. I am a nurse and am on my feet constantly at work. Several co-workers convinced me to try the MBT. I did some research and settled on the Lami because I liked the color and style. (I got the black with pink trim) I initially ordered a size nine (I'm an 8.5) after reading the reviews that MBT's run small. When they came in, I immediately tried them on. They flopped on my heel a good bit. I sent them back for an 8.5 and they fit perfectly! As a side note, Zappos was lightening fast sending the new pair, they were here the next day! They did take some 'breaking in' the first few times I wore them, but I really do love them. I did not do the recommended schedule of wearing them for 10 minutes a day, then 20 a day, ect. I wore them for a 12 hour shift and was fine. I could tell that my legs and butt were a bit sore. Very much a good thing! Overall, I would definitely recommend them. I can tell that my knee pain is improved and my legs are not as tired at the end of a 12 hour shift as they were before. On the size issue, my recommendation would be to either try them on in a store before ordering on the internet, or order your true size in addition to a size up and just return the one that does not fit. The return process with Zappos is super easy and fast.
