I was pretty nervous about buying more jeans online because I haven't had good experience with it. Most of the times I need to ship it back for an outright exchange or get a different size. These Mavis, however, fit great! Perfect mid rise. This pair is perfect for the older guys who don't want to mess with the "ball hugger" low rise jeans of the kids, but still want to have some style. Definitely more of an "out at night" type of dark jeans but can be dressed down as well.
