Maui Jim Reviews
These are phenomenal sunglasses. The ear pieces can bend and won't break. The pure lenses are incredible. Any bad review for these sunglasses is hysterical. These sunglasses, along with Maui Jim's 2 year warranty are enough for me to trust the glasses. These are the most durable ear pieces I have ever seen, so how they would break would be a mystery to me. A+ sunglasses from an awesome company with excellent customer service.
The lenses are obviously amazing because they are Maui Jim's. I think the shape is an edgier version of a typical aviator.
Maui Jim sunglasses are very nice. The World Cup is another in a long line of excellent sunglasses. The lens (gradient grey) are made of thin polarized glass. They do an excellent job of blocking glare from bright sun. The frames are a bit heavier than I am used to, but with an 8-base curvature and wide sides, the frames do a great job of blocking out bright light too. All-in-all, the Maui Jim World Cup sunglasses are great for driving. Highly recommended!
I absolutely love these glasses. They are perfect for a small framed face. I have been looking for years for glasses (aviators) that would fit my skinny face without looking ridiculous. I absolutely love these! They are amazing. They are so clear. So worth the money! I wish that I could buy every color!
Choosing sunglasses online is not an easy feat. I liked these from the pictures, but when I tried them on didn't love the style with my face shape. I thought they were a little too masculine looking for my small face. They were also on the tight side, and left some marks on the sides of my nose. The lens quality, however, is incredible. So, I am exchanging for another pair of Maui Jims. Zappos customer service has been, as always, beyond amazing.
These are beautiful sunglasses but unfortunately did not fit me well. They felt a bit flimsy/cheap compared to my Oakley's.
I love the color clarity for being polarized amazing comfort! I would buy another pair of glasses from Maui Jim any time hands down.
This is the second time I've purchased this pair of sunglasses for my husband. He lost the first pair and was so upset. He loves these glasses so much. If you are looking for a great pair of glasses that look great on, these are the ones to get!
I was worried about buying sunglasses online, but these are great. So comfortable and really great looking. I love them.
Just what I was looking for. Other aviators are too big for my narrow face. The Baby Beach style was too small, but the Cliff House was perfect. They are also very light weight.
I have a large oval face. MJ is the only brand I have found that I am happy with all around. I have several pairs for a wide range of use (lake/biking/golf, casual and driving). The Black Coral glasses are what I use for driving and I really like them. The clarity with all MJ glasses are exceptional. There may be better, but they do not fit my face. My only issues with this pair is they are a bit heavy, I am use to the rimless metal frames, and thick arms impede peripheral vision. The second I have adjusted to, the weight is something to consider if you will wear these for long periods of time.
These are very light weight and block out light effectively. The plastic at the top between lenses was distracting at first, but after a few uses it is no longer an issue for me (it's as if it's not there. There are grips to keep them on your face even when bending over. A great buy at a great price! :)
Although I love they look, I found them to be loose and heavy. I don't have a high bridge on my nose, so that maybe why...but they kept sliding down.
These are the perfect size for someone with a smaller face. I tried on other larger aviator sunglasses and they were way too big for my face. These are very light and comfortable.
Bought some Ray Bans of a similar style but after wearing them for 5 minutes decided to take them back as they were reflecting light on the inside of the glass and giving me a lens flare effect. Happy with this purchase as it was on sale and Maui Jims are not often on sale. Ray Ban fired, welcome MJS.
The glasses are extremely lightweight, comfortable and durable. I didn't treat my first pair with the best of care and they lasted for over 5 years. When the frame broke, I tried other sunglasses, but ended up going back to the same MJ frame. The frames have good 'grip' so they are ideal for sports. They also provide good coverage. The polycarbonate lenses are more prone to scratches as compared to glass lenses. So if you want them to remain scratch-free, remember to protect them. Overall, these are great sunglasses.
These are the best-looking, most comfortable, most expensive sunglasses I've ever owned. They are made in Japan of very durable metal. I bought a second pair because I've had four women tell me that "those are the sexiest sunglasses I've ever seen!" They're polarized and comfortable to wear.
Had to return these. The pros: fantastically light and comfortable, and terrific lenses. The deal breaker con is that they don't fold flat, I often have to slip my glasses into a pocket and unless you bring along the very chunky case these are impossible to travel with. Too expensive just to leave them as a dedicated car piece.
I love these glasses! They fit my face perfectly and snugly. The colors look great. Maui Jim is an excellent company with outstanding customer service! To give you an idea I have a bigger face so I own the Canoes and Dorados. But these by far fit the best and I will buy the chocolate colored ones as well.
I really love my Maui Jim Peahi sun glasses. Out on the water fishing you can really see everything clearly without glare. I didn't realize how much I was missing with other sun glasses! I didn't compromise looks for this either. The white glasses look awesome too!
Best ST lens MJ sunglasses for a small head, fine featured face. Ever since trying on my wife's Maui Jim ST lenses two years ago when out in our pool, I've lusted after the MJ super thin glass transparency. I've been an Oakley bicycle rider/racer guy forever. MJ lenses are a step above, especially the ST lenses. In my search I tried the Longboards with polycarb lenses...good fit but didn't quite do it due to the lens material. So in my quest for ST lenses, I tried the Surfriders, but they were far too big, slipped down on my face and rested on my cheeks at an excessive angle. I tried the Peahi's and they were also too big. Then I found the Stingrays...ST nirvana for a small face! Can't speak for a large face, but if you have a small hat size and fine featured face, these are the HT lens MJ sunglasses worth ordering! I now own the black/gray frame/lens combo. As soon as my Longboard return clears, I'll be ordering the tortoise/bronze also.
