About Matix Clothing Company
Matix was founded by pro skateboarders Daewon Song and Tim Gavin, tired of clothes disintegrating upon contact between body and concrete. Since 1998, all Matix has pushed the boundaries of skateboard fashion to what it has developed into today.

With a roster of professional athletes including Marc Johnson, Rick McCrank, and Brandon Biebel, Matix continues to progress within the industry. This jacket was a lot longer than it looked here. I am on the more average to shorter side so that could be why. The hand mittens suck! You would not believe how poorly designed they were. The functionality of them was terrible. And the appearance of the material was too pixelated. It looked like it was printed out on a computer printer.
Purchased for my granddaughter in college. The fit was perfect. The quality and workmanship was excellent. My grandaughter loves the jacket.
Super comfy, can't help touching myself when wearing this. I like the shoulder lapels. Not a light jacket; wear for crisp, cold days and nights; runs a little big.
Big disappointment! Based on the photo, I thought I was getting a nice, fall jacket with the comfort of a sweatshirt. Instead, this "jacket" (I'm not sure I'd even call it a jacket) does not even have the weight of a heavy sweatshirt. Only the hood and vest area are lined - and the lining is very thin. The sleeves are so light they are actually see-through! Not at all what I wanted for crisp autumn mornings!
Great fit if you like a slim, straight legs and a low-rise waist. The size 28 I bought sits low, much lower than the tight Ben Sherman Chicos I purchased at the same time in the same size. Fabric and stitch quality aren't high but seem about right for the price.
